The Jedi Code

The Jedi Code is a code of conduct that established rules and modes of behaviour for all Jedi.

Although changing in style through the generations, the main tenets, context and meaning of the code stayed the same.

Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.

Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.

Jedi respect all life, in any form.

Jedi serve others, rather than rule over them, for the good of the galaxy.

Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.

How to play by the codeSo how does the code impact the way we play this game?

As the code states, we are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.For us this means that we will try to keep the peace by, Helping others settle disputes, using diplomacy, if diplomacy fails, we will offer support using force.

Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.This means that we will assist alliances in battle, but only after finding out all the facts and diplomacy has failed.Also we will never attack another player or alliance without provocation, we will always seek to solve any disputes that may arise through the use of diplomacy, only using force if this fails.

Jedi respect all life, in any form.As Jedi we respect all players in the game no matter which race they chose or which country they come from.

How to play by the code

Jedi serve others, rather than rule over them, for the good of the galaxy.As Jedi, we do not try to rule over anyone, each player and alliance may choose to play this game in the way that they see fit, we will only step in if,a player or alliance is being bullied and/or if we are asked to assist in settling a dispute.

Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training,Even after completing your training in one of the academies and in Jedi Council Padawans [JCP] you will still continue to learn along with your fellow Jedi, a Jedi recognises that they are always learning and will seek to better themselves through the gaining of knowledge and experience.

How to play by the code

The Jedi name brings with it honour as well as a bullseye. You will be targeted by those who hope to gain, what they perceive as, "honour" by targeting you. If your planet is taken, by a player not at war with us, you have the following options open to you:

Always attempt to get your planet back using diplomacy first.

If diplomacy fails, You ARE authorised to take your planet back.

Other Jedi ARE authorised to assist you taking your planet back.

You are NOT authorised to attack ANY of the attackers planets, unless it is approved by the High Council (to request permission, contact your alliance leader or one of your senior officers)
