At the small end of the range is the new JCB
Mini, the smallest backhoe loader JCB has
ever built. It features a 2.54m (8ft 4in) dig
depth backhoe and 0.25 cu.m (0.33 cu.yd.)
loader capacity. At only 1.5 tonnes weight
this compact machine is easily trailer towed
from site to site.
The next model in the range is the 1CX,
with the added advantage of skid steer
manoeuvrability allowing this machine to
turn on its own axis, while a 2.5m (8ft) dig
depth and a 0.28 cu.m (0.30 cu.yd.) capacity
loader put backhoe productivity and versatility
at the operator’s f ingertips, no matter how
confined the site.
The 2CX is the most manoeuvrable
backhoe loader of its size. This compact and
stable machine provides the combined
benefits of four equal-sized wheels, four-
wheel drive and four-wheel steer. Along
with its reduced width, leng th and height,
this means you can benefit from renowned
JCB per formance in sites that were
previously inaccessible.
Also within this range of machines is: the
2CXL, a compact 4x4x4 loading shovel;
the 2CX Air Master, a mobile compressed
air machine that’s very widely used in the
road laying industry; and the 2CXU, a utility
machine with a three-point hitch and
540 rpm power take of f capable of running
mowers and other PTO driven attachments.
Then there’s the 3CX and 4CX at the
bigger end of the spectrum. Featuring a
tough, power ful and easy-to-use excavator
arm with dig depths ranging from 4.24m
(13f t 11in) f ixed dipper on the 3CX through
to 4.98m (16f t 4in) on the 4CX Super.
The option of precision controls is of fered
throughout, giving the 3CX and 4CX range
unrivalled control and visibility, and class-
leading productivity. The 4CX gives you
four-wheel drive, four-wheel steer and four
massive, equal-sized wheels which provide
higher f lotation and excellent pushing power.
And there’s the 4CX Super with its
impressive dig-depth of 16f t 4in and
