The Iowan History letter
The Iowan History letter
Vol. 4 Number 4 EXTRA, 2015Vol. 4 Number 4 EXTRA, 2015
At the reunion in Long Beach this year Iowa Veterans got to go aboard our ship and return to places not on the regular tour. This edition of the Iowan History Newsletter will let crewmembers who could not attend see our ship and how some spaces have changed - or not. The good news is the ship is in relatively good shape. The Pacific Battleship Center is working hard to keep our ship in top condition and to bring some areas, like the main deck, back into the kind of shape we were used to when she was in commission. I hope you like what you see. All photos are from either Brad Goforth or Bill Hummeny.Editor
