The Internet includes commercial, educational, governmental, and other networks, all of which use the same set of communications protocols.
The World Wide Web isa system of extensively interlinked hypertext
documents: a branch of the Internet.
• The WORLD Wide Web is a blessing ,we should be thanking to God for it .
• I t is one of this age miracles , not only scientific, but also social ,cultural ,economical ,and religious .
Before the Internet
Scattered information sources ,gained through a lot of time ,effort ,and money
poor communication between people around the world
Library services were limited with fixed times.
To meet life needs we had to travel a lot
Information was not updated continuously
On the other hand ,the Internet does not contain everything ,it only has 5% of the world literature
So We need to use other information sources as well.
