In the end of May in Odessa the ÕVIII International Week on Trade and Transport, Exhibition “Inter-TRANSPORT” successfully completed its work.The International Week on Trade and Transport is

included into the plans of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC). European Union, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine takes an active part in the Event. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and Odessa Region State Administration are coordinating the Event. The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) is a general partner of the International Week on Trade and Transport, Exhibition “Inter-TRANSPORT”.

In the framework of the International Week on Trade and Transport Ukrainian Ports Forum 2019, which was organized by the Ukrainian Sea Port on May 30th-31st gathered the most influential representatives of the authorities, the Ukrainian and international business commu-nity on the international platform to discuss ways and prospects for implementing joint infra-structure projects in the ports of Ukraine and adjacent regions.The Transport Week was opened by the International Seminar on Trade and Transport Facil-

itation, organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the International Port Community System Association (IPCSA) in cooperation with the Gov-ernment of Ukraine with support from the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine), the Interagency Working Group on Trade Facilitation and Logistics in Ukraine, PLASKE JSC, and the Port Community Service Association «PPL 33-35».International Week on Trade and Transport is traditionally coincided with the International

Industry (ORCCI) under the auspices of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Develop-ment (EBRD) within the framework of the European Union EU4Business held the Conference “New Challenges of Modern Transport Logistics in Ukraine. International freight Forwarder's Day”.This year Conference was devoted to: E-business as a component of the digital economy,

improvement of the legal framework, practical application of international recommenda-tions and standards, priorities of the adopted National Transport Strategy of Ukraine until 2030.

At the “Inter-TRANSPORT” Exhibition exposition there were traditionally presented the lead-ing ports of Ukraine.One could get acquainted with the new achievements in the sphere of cargo handling

equipment, multimodal transportation and leading companies in the field of hydraulic engi-neering.The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of

the Republic of Belarus took active part in the work of the International Week.For 18 years of history the exhibition "Inter-TRANSPORT" retains the composition of its lead-

ing participants. This year a number of companies for the first time presented their activities at the exposition of the exhibition.For the first time Huawei – leading global provider of information and communication tech-

nology infrastructure and smart devices, presented its solutions for the transport business.UA-SYSTEMS, official representative of the W. Gessmann GmbH in Ukraine – the world

Innovative solutions for hydraulic engineering were presented at the stand of TGS Vibro hammers & power pack– for the first time at the exhibition company presented hydraulic pil-ingTraditionally, leading enterprises of the hydraulic engineering industry were represented at

the exhibition: ChernomorNIIproekt (Ukraine), Remstroytrest BSP (Ukraine), UNIPROM (Ukraine).For the first time Ankor and MARIN PROJECT INTERNATIONAL, which provide all range of

hydraulic services. For the first time ENGINEERING COMPANY “CORROCOAT-UKRAINE” – representative

forwarding in the countries of Western and Eastern Europe, presented their activities at the exposition of the exhibition "Inter-TRANSPORT": ASA TRANSPORT SERVICE, Ramitrans.Transport company SAT presented all range of logistic services: transportation of

The leading Ukrainian state ports represented their activities and held active negotiations: Mariupol Sea Commercial Port, Kherson Commercial Sea Port, stevedoring company "Olvia".Again at the exposition the group of companies of the Austrian holding First-DDSG Logis-

tics Holding GmbH, the largest shipping company in Europe - 250 vessels for the transpor-tation of general, bulk, heavyweight, cubature cargoes and petroleum products. While the Exhibition was working there were registered more than 1400 visitors.As always, during the exhibition, the partners of the project held a number of important

events for the industry.In the framework of the specialized session on “Construction, reconstruction and technical

maintenance of port and coastal structures” held jointly with the meeting of Ukrainian Ports Association “UKRPORT” Committee “On Design, Construction and Technical Operation of Port Engineering and Hydraulic Facilities”. The issues of the need to improve training for the construction and technical operation of facilities in the port industry were discussed.At the meeting of the Ukrainian Ports Association “UKRPORT” Committee “On Technol-

ogy, Mechanization and Information Technology” the issues of environmental condition and compliance with the requirements of technological regulations in the implementation of cargo operations with fast cargo in ports were considered; introduction of process regula-tions with regard to environmental impact assessment were be addressed.

The most active participation in the preparation and work and development of the Exhibi-tion and Conference was from the side of the information partners.The transport intellectuals traditionally gathered in Odessa within the framework of the

International Transport Week. The motto of the Forum “Inter-TRANSPORT” is “Dialogue. Trust. Action”.

At the beginning of summer in Odessathere was a successful DIALOGUE.
