Welcome to our 15th Anniversary of the International Euphonium and Tuba Festival!! I cannot believe it has been 15 years! It is amazing to see the success of our participants with positions in the US Army Band, US Air Force Band, various universities around world, and successful careers!! Its hard to believe the impact as the festival has grown from 14 participants to 130 and the teaching staff from 4 to 14!! Know that by being a part of the IET Festival, each participant walks in the shoes of professionals that have been a student, sought inspiration, desired to learn, worked with great artists, and became motivated to be their absolute best and chart a path for success and achievement!! I am pleased to announce the creation of the “Earle L. Louder Fellowship” to attend the International Euphonium Tuba (IET) Festival. This award, created and endowed to honor Earle L. Louder’s contributions to our musical community. In its two years, the Euphonium Foundation has awarded more than $5000 in awards to deserving students. Awards can vary from a lesson stipend of $150 up to the supporting registration, housing, and lessons ($1,000+).

Competitors
Low brass at UNG has experienced incredible growth in the last two years growing from 3 to 25 students across trombone, euphonium, and tuba instruction. Dr. Adam Frey was hired in August 2016 and in 2017, Mr. Phil Truex was added to the low brass faculty due to the expansive growth. The UNG Low Brass Collective was created and presents more than 10 concerts a year around campus and in area schools. The group has received university funding to travel to perform at regional tuba euphonium conferences. UNG also regularly hosts world class guest artists and teachers such as: James Gourlay, Mark Jenkins (US Marine Band), Adam Lessard (US Army Band), Aubrey Foard, Tom Holtz (US Marine Band), The US Army Brass Quintet, The Israel Tuba Duo, Justin Benavidez, and musicians from the Charlotte and Knoxville Symphony Orchestras.

ØYSTEIN BAADSVIKInternational Soloist
Øystein Baadsvik is the only tuba virtuoso to have carved out a career exclusively as a soloist, rather than becoming a member of an orchestra or accepting a teaching post. His multi-faceted musical career as a soloist, chamber musician, lecturer and recording artist has taken him all over the world. The unique virtuosity and musicality Mr. Baadsvik’s brings to the tuba has established him as the exemplar of the instrument. He studied under the celebrated tuba player Harvey Phillips, Distinguished Professor meritus, Department of Music, Indiana University and with the legendary Arnold Jacobs, who had a forty-year career and position of Principal Tuba with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Øystein Baadsvik’s international career began in 1991 when he was awarded two prizes at the prestigious Concours International d’Exécution Musicale in Geneva. His international engagements include performances with orchestras such as the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Taipei National Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Philharmonic, and the Orchestra Victoria of Melbourne. Baadsvik has performed in some of the most famous venues in the world and 2006 made his New York recital debut at Carnegie Hall. He works constantly to expand the musical aspects of the tuba and has premiered some forty solo works by composers from the USA, Russia, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. In this ongoing process he has developed new tuba-playing techniques that have been used in a number of more recent works for the instrument.

ALAN BAERNew York Philharmonic
Alan Baer joined the New York Philharmonic on June 21, 2004, as Principal Tuba. He was formerly principal tuba with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony Orchestra, and Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. His other performing credits include recordings with The Cleveland Orchestra led by Vladimir Ashkenazy, performances with the Peninsula Music Festival of Wisconsin, New Orleans Symphony, Los Angeles Concert Orchestra, Ojai Festival Orchestra (California), Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed as a featured soloist, touring several countries in Europe, including Switzerland,
Austria, Germany, and France. Mr. Baer began his undergraduate work at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he studied with Dr. Gary Bird. He completed his bachelor of music degree with Ronald Bishop at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and has done graduate work at the University of Southern California, Cleveland Institute of Music, and California State University, Long Beach, where he studied with Tommy Johnson. While in Long Beach, Mr. Baer taught at California State University, where he also directed the university tuba ensemble and the brass choir. In Milwaukee, Mr. Baer was adjunct professor of tuba and euphonium at the University of Wisconsin and director of the Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble.

Dr. Brian L. Bowman enjoys a distinguished career as a soloist, clinician, recording artist, educator and administrator. Dr. Bowman has held the principal euphonium position, in addition to being a featured soloist, in each of the bands he has been associated with: The University of Michigan Symphony Band, The United States Navy Band, The United States Bicentennial Band, The United States Air Force Band and The River City Brass Band in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is in demand as a guest soloist with high school, university, municipal and professional ensembles. He has performed as a soloist in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, The Virgin Islands, Norway, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Hungary, Great Britain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, Tonga Taiwan, Thailand and the People’s Republic of China. He has appeared as tenor tubist with the National Symphony, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra Symphonica of Xlapa, Mexico. He has performed concertos with the Lexington Kentucky Symphony, the Sapporo Japan, Symphony Orchestra the North Carolina Symphony and the Madison Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra.

FYODOR CHERNIAVSKYDekalb Symphony Orchestra
Fyodor Cherniavsky was born in London into a family of musicians; his great-grandfather, Avrum, was a conductor of youth orchestras in the Ukraine during the end of the nineteenth-century. After his education at Repton School and Cambridge College of Arts and Technology, Mr. Cherniavsky received his formal musical training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where his studies included bassoon, viola and piano. He is an Associate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and after being awarded the post-graduate Certifi cate of Advanced Musical Studies, he studied conducting with Brian Brockless at Morley College in London and with the legendary Sergiu Celibidache in Munich, Germany.

Zach Collins is associate professor of Tuba and Euphonium at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. At IUP, Zach teaches applied lessons to all tuba and euphonium majors, leads the IUP Tubaphonium Ensemble, and teaches classes in music technology. Zach performs with the Hoodlebug Brass Quintet (IUP’s faculty brass quintet), Eastern Standard, Keystone Wind Ensemble, Keystone Chamber Winds, and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. In 2015 Zach was awarded the Distinguished Faculty Award for Creative Arts by Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2014 he was named a National Arts Associate by Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity. Zach has written a number of works for brass instruments. His compositions and arrangements for tuba and euphonium can be purchased from Cimarron Music and Eighth Note Publications. Beginning in summer 2015 he began publishing a series of duets with scrolling music notation to YouTube. They can be found on the Bass Clef Duets web page.
Zach Collins earned his Bachelor of Music in Tuba Performance from Texas Christian University (2003) and his Master of Music (2005) and Doctor of Music (2007) in Tuba Performance from the University of Southern California. While at TCU, Zach’s primary studies were with Richard Murrow, a freelance musician in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. At USC his teachers were Jim Self and Tommy Johnson, both studio musicians, and Norm Pearson, principal tubist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Pianist, Caryl Worthington Conger, continues her passion of musical collaboration, performing regularly with wind and brass artists in recitals and conferences throughout the U.S. and abroad including the annual U.S. Army Band Tuba-Euphonium Conferences and the recent ITEA conferences in Finland and Greensboro and Denver. Her niche of interest has been her collaboration with tuba and euphonium artists including Daniel Perantoni, Patrick Sheridan, Oystein Baadsvik, Roger Bobo, and Harvey Phillips, Steve Mead, Adam Frey, Roger Behrend, and Brian Bowman.

Dr. Richard Demy is an international award winning musician and a Willson Sponsored artist. He graduated from the University of North Texas with his DMA under Dr. Brian Bowman, and other notable teachers such as Dr Joseph Skillen, Don Palmire, and others. Richard has won the 2012 Leonard Falcone Euphonium Artist Solo Competition, and has been fi nalist in many other contests, such as the National Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, and the International Tuba Euphonium Conference Euphonium Artist Division. He has given a solo recital in the Kennedy Center, over 100 recitals and master classes across the US, performed with symphonies, and has soloed with wind bands across the United States.
Richard has worked hard to expand performance opportunities on the euphonium by publishing articles promoting lesser known genres featuring the euphonium, presenting recitals on historical instruments, creating mobile apps to encourage better practice habits, and performing modern compositions with audience biofeedback.

TORMOD FLATENRoyal Norwegian Naval Band
Tormod Flaten is an international Besson artist and solo euphonium player with the Royal Norwegian Naval Forces’ Band. With his three solo recordings, numerous appearances at major international festivals and his passion for developing new repertoire, Tormod has established himself as one of today’s most exciting voices of the euphonium. Tormod performed live on radio and television and has appeared as a soloist in the US, Korea, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Finland.
In 2014 Tormod Flaten won the audition for the highly sought-after solo euphonium position with the Royal Norwegian Naval Forces´ Band in Bergen. He taught euphonium at the Grieg Academy and serves on the board of directors for the International Tuba Euphonium Association.

Adam Frey serves as the Assistant Professor of Low Brass the University of North Georgia where he teaches trombone, euphonium, tuba, and chamber music. Since joining the faculty at UNG in 2016, Adam has grown low brass enrollment from 3 students to 25 and founded the UNG Low Brass Collective that has presented more than 20 concerts and hosted 12 diff erent guest artists. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Adam received his musical training at the University of Georgia, the Royal Northern College of Music, and the University of Salford. As a major ambassador of the euphonium, Adam has more than one hundred and twenty works that have been composed or arranged for him. Adam has soloed with orchestras and bands the world over. the world over, including the world famous Boston Pops, US Army Orchestra, and Harvard Pops. He has also performed with brass bands and wind bands in Singapore, Germany, Hong Kong, Brazil, and the United States.For 14 years, he has been Artistic Director of the International Euphonium Tuba Festival at Emory University each June. GEORGIA BRASS BANDThe Georgia Brass Band was founded in 1999 and has become an integral part of Atlanta’s thriving musical community. The band is comprised of leading freelance and accomplished amateur musicians, all of whom volunteer their time and talents. The GBB is a British-style brass band and is modelled after the great bands from the UK which have thrived for nearly two hundred years. The band has performed at concert halls, churches, schools, and colleges throughout the state of Georgia, as well as in Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Vermont. The band has been featured at many notable festivals and clinics including the International Euphonium and Tuba Festival, the Atlanta Trumpet Festival, the Trumpet Festival of the Southeast, the International Trumpet Guild Conference, the United States Army Tuba/Euphonium Conference, the International Trombone Festival, the Southeast Regional Tuba/Euphonium Conference, the Deep South Brass Band Festival, Kennesaw State University’s Brass Blast, the Great American Brass Band Festival and the Georgia Music Educators Association Conference. The band has released two commercial recordings and several of the band’s live concert performances have aired on WABE-FM’s Atlanta Music Scene. The band is a member of the North American Brass Band Association and has earned fi rst place fi nishes in two divisions at the annual NABBA Championships.Many of the world’s leading brass soloists have performed with the Georgia Brass Band. Band programs have featured the talents of Scott Hartman, Patrick Sheridan, David Zerkel, Thomas Ruedi, Jukka Myllys, Christopher Martin, David Childs, Demondrae Thurman, Vincent DiMartino, Thomas Hooten, Richard Marshall, Colin Williams, Tormod Flaten, Adam Frey, Matthew van Emmerick, Chris Gekker, Jim Pugh, Ingrid Jensen, Allan Dean, Brett Baker, Megumi Kanda, Charles Vernon, Mike Roylance, Steven Mead, Allen Vizzutti and Philip Smith. The band has been coached by noted composer Eric Ewazen and premiered the brass band version of his Symphony for Brass. The band has also premiered works written for it by composers Stephen Bulla and David Marlatt.

IUP TUBAPHONIUM ENSEMBLEThe IUP Tubaphonium Ensemble was formed under the direction of Dr. Gary Bird and presented its fi rst concert in the Fall of 1971. Since that time it has performed numerous concerts, including performances at the 2014 and 2016 International Tuba Euphonium Conferencea, 1978 and 2012 PMEA Conferences, the 1995, 1999, 2007, and 2009 U.S. Army Band Tuba-Euphonium Conferences in Washington, D.C., the 2013 and 2015 Northeast Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference, and the 1996 and 1998 Colonial Euphonium and Tuba Institute in Albany, NY and Indiana, PA respectively. This group has also been involved in sponsoring TubaChristmas in Indiana, PA for more than 30 years.
Over the years, the ensemble has commissioned many composers to compose works especially for them, including: Jack Stamp, Barbara York, Gregory Fritze, Al Agatucci, Charles Davis, and W. Roy Mitchell. The ensemble performs in a variety of styles from classical to pop, contemporary to jazz.
The IUP Tubaphonium Ensemble is comprised of students whose focus of study is music and/or music education with a major emphasis on the tuba and euphonium as well as qualifi ed non-majors. It is an accredited ensemble and is featured on the IUP Department of Music CDs “Spectrum” and “COLLAGE.” The ensemble is used as an extension of private instruction, allowing for master classes, ensemble rehearsal and performance, and the study of low brass literature and pedagogy.
JAMES GOURLAYRiver City Brass Band
James Gourlay was born in Scotland, where he was ‘volunteered’ to play in the local school band. Being the tallest in class, his teacher, William J. Ross, gave him a tuba saying ‘play that’. So begins a 40 year old love-aff air with the noblest, the most fl exible instrument of the orchestra! James still tries to follow Mr. Ross’ advice!Gourlay later studied tuba performance at the Royal College of Music, London, but left after a short time to take up a full time position in the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Three years later, he became principal tuba of the BBC Symphony
Orchestra in London.Gourlay holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Salford, a MMus from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of the Royal Northern College of Music (FRNCM) and the London College of Music (FLCM). Gourlay has also been honoured by the Worshipful Company of Musicians, which conferred upon him the John Henry Isles Medal for services to the brass band movement.Gourlay’s repertoire is extensive, ranging from the avant-guard to rock and pop music. He has commissioned more than 50 solo works for tuba and piano, tape, band and orchestra. As a conductor, he works with some of the world’s leading brass groups, but also with orchestras such as the Sinfonica in Campinas, Brazil, the Orquestra Casa da Musica in Porto, Portugal.

JOANNA ROSS HERSEYUniversity of NC – Pembroke
A native Vermonter, tuba and euphonium soloist Joanna Ross Hersey studied with Dan Perantoni at Arizona State University, received a Master of Music in Tuba Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music studying with Chester Schmitz, and earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Tuba Performance from the Hartt School. As Principal Tubist with the United States Coast Guard Band, Joanna performed throughout the country as a soloist and clinician after winning the position at the age of nineteen. Joanna has played for three U.S. Presidents, performed at numerous state functions for visiting dignitaries, and has appeared on The Today Show and Good Morning America. In her freelance career she has performed with artists including Placido Domingo, Roberta Flack, Marilyn Horne, Arlo Guthrie, Michael Bolton, Lee Greenwood, Arturo Sandoval and Jack Nicholson. Joanna is currently Principal Tubist with the Carolina Philharmonic and the Carolina International Orchestra. As a member of the Alchemy Tuba-Euphonium Quartet, Joanna performs throughout North America and Europe and can be heard on the group’s recordings Village Dances (1997) and Prelude and Groove (2012). Together with Michael Parker, Joanna is also part of an exciting new duo JAM: Joanna and Michael, who have just released their fi rst CD, featuring tuba, euphonium, cimbasso, and electronics. Joanna has produced two solo albums, O quam mirabilis (2010) and Zigzags (2015), featuring music by composers including Hildegard von Bingen and Libby Larson in combination with her own compositions. Joanna is President of the International Women’s Brass Conference and Associate Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

DR. J. ASHLEY JARRELLUniversity of North Georgia
Dr. J. Ashley Jarrell serves as Director of Instrumental Music at the University of North Georgia - Gainesville Campus, where his responsibilities include conducting instrumental ensembles and overseeing all facets of the instrumental music program. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Jarrell served as Assistant Director of Bands at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received the Master of Arts degree in Wind Conducting from Middle Tennessee State University and the Bachelor of Music degree from East Tennessee State University. Before coming to the University of Illinois, Dr. Jarrell served as Director of Bands at Martin Luther King Jr. Academic Magnet School in Nashville, Tennessee. Consistently named by U.S. News and World
Report and Newsweek magazines as one of the fi fty best high schools in the nation, Martin Luther King Jr. Academic Magnet School Bands received numerous superior ratings, accolades, and three performances for the Tennessee Music Education Association Conference in the span of six years during Dr. Jarrell’s tenure. Previously, Dr. Jarrell also served as Associate Director of Bands at Middle Tennessee State University and Associate Director of Bands at Harpeth High School.

THE UNITES STATES MARINE BAND TUBA-EUPHONIUM QUARTETSergeant Nathan Doggett, originally from Joliet, IL, joined the Marine Corpsin 2013 and currently serves as the Tuba Instructor at the Naval School ofMusic. Prior to his current station, he served in Okinawa, Japan leadingmultiple ensembles in performances throughout the Asia-Pacifi c Region.
Staff Sergeant James Williams hails from Brookhaven, MS, and currentlyserves as the Euphonium Instructor and Head of Basic Academics at the NavalSchool of Music. He enlisted in 2005, and has been a featured soloist at allthree bands he has served with.
GySgt Cory Hungerford hails from Baltimore, MD where he enlisted in theMarine Corps during the summer of 2001. Since then, has served with theQuantico Marine Band, III Marine Expeditionary Force Band, and the 3d MarineAircraft Wing Band. In addition to these bands, GySgt Hungerford has servedwith the Command Naval Forces Europe Band in Naples, Italy, and served atthe Naval School of Music as the Tuba Instructor and Brass Branch Head. Hecurrently serves as the Small Ensemble Leader for the 3d Marine AircraftWing Band located in San Diego, CA. GySgt Hungerford holds a Bachelors ofMusic from Thomas Edison University and studied under the Principle Tubistof the President’s Own, MGySgt John Cradler.
GySgt Matthew Phagan is originally from Daleville, Alabama. He enlisted inthe Marine Corps in 2002 and currently serves as the Musician PlacementDirector for the Marine Music Program in the South-eastern United States. Hehas performed as a Euphonium Soloist and Instrumentalist for 15 years in 5diff erent bands.
JUKKA MYLLYSSibelius Academy
Euphonium artist Jukka Myllys is a virtuoso who is known especially on bringing out Finnish music. He graduated as a Master of Music from the Sibelius Academy and has performed as a soloist with several symphony orchestras and wind bands, recorded, and given solo recitals in Europe
and the United States. He has worked as assistant conductor of the Pohja Military Band and currently plays trombone with the Oulu Symphony Orchestra. He has taken part in many tuba and euphonium festivals including appearances at numerous ITEA Conferences, the Falcone Festival, and the US Army Band Tuba Euphonium Conference. The Lieksa Brass Week named him the1994 Brass Player of the Year.

Bill is a native of New Jersey. He began teaching and freelancing in Atlanta in 2001 while hewas a member of the Army Ground Forces Band. He currently plays tuba with the Midtown Brass Quintet, the acclaimed Georgia Brass Band, the New Atlanta Philharmonic, and the John’s Creek Symphony Orchestra. In addition Bill plays sousaphone with The 4th Ward Afro- Klezmer Orchestra, Funk Cake and Mercury Orkestar. He has also performed with the Alabama, Columbus, Chattanooga, Macon, Cobb and Hilton Head Symphonies, the Savannah Philharmonic, the Atlanta Brass Society, The Atlanta Ballet and the Peachtree Brass. As a soloist he has appeared with the Army Ground Forces Band, the New Atlanta Philharmonic, the Ludwig Symphony, and the New Jersey-based South Orange Symphony, delighting audiences of all ages with his dynamic interpretations of both standard and lesser known works for tuba. Bill has a project of free improvisations with amplifi ed tuba with eff ects and loops called Amplituba. He has played as Amplituba at regional and international brass festivals, rock clubs and released a self titled album. In addition to his performance schedule, Mr. Pritchard is a dedicated teacher of his craft, giving private lessons and master classes on euphonium and trombone, as well as the Low Brass professor at Georgia College and State University and Lee University. Bill holds a Bachelor ofArts degree in music management from William Paterson University and a Master of Arts inclassical performance from the Eastman School of Music.

DEVIN REIDGeorgia State University
Since 2016, Mr. Reid has served as Assistant Director of Bands at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. T. Devin Reid is currently an active musician and educator throughout the southeast. A native of Fayetteville, NC, Mr. Reid is a 2005 recipient of the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Scholarship. He holds a Master of Music in Wind Band Conducting from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Mr. Reid has presented clinics and workshops at the North Carolina
Music Educators Conference, Georgia Music Educators Conference and the Georgia State University Bands of Distinction Honor Clinic. He is a two-time guest conductor of the Eagle Ensemble at the International Euphonium and Tuba Festival. He is also an active concert band and marching band clinician and adjudicator throughout Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina.

Thomas Rüedi began playing the euphonium in his youth. Since then his solo engagements have led him to performances with orchestras and bands throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and the USA. As an orchestral musician he plays regularly with the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich and in other renowned symphony orchestras. Pianist Keith Teepen has performed in Europe, Asia, South America, and throughout North America. He has collaborated with many of today’s important artists including: Rent star, Anthony Rapp, famous trumpeter, Tine Thing Helseth, internationally renowned euphonium virtuoso, Adam Frey and tuba virtuoso, Marty Erickson. His most recent performances include concerts in China, Japan, and Brazil. The past two summers, he taught on the piano faculty at Pró-Música Music Festival in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. As a member of the Red River Trio, Keith has performed more than 40 concerts around the world in more than 15 cities. Their recent engagements include concerts in
Japan, China, and throughout the Midwest of the United States. Keith earned degrees from DePauw University and the University of North Dakota.

Dr. David Thornton is regarded as one of the foremost euphonium players and teachers of hisgeneration and has a global reputation as a performer and clinician.His work as a soloist, conductor and educator is renowned throughout the brass playing world to have a distinct hallmark of extreme virtuosity, professionalism and an ability to connect with audiences like few others in his fi eld.In 2001 he was named as ‘The International Euphonium Player Of The Year’ and in 2004 his debut solo CD, ‘Three Worlds’, was awarded Solo CD of the Year by the British Bandsman magazine. David is a Sterling Musical Instruments performing artist and consultant.

AARON TINDALLUniversity of Miami
Aaron Tindall is assistant professor of tuba and euphonium at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Tuba Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a Master’s of Music degree in Euphonium Performance with Distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England, UK, and a Bachelor of Music Performance degree on both the Euphonium and Tuba from The Pennsylvania State University. He has additional studies at Indiana University. His principal teachers have included Velvet Brown, Mel Culbertson,
Warren Deck, Mike Dunn, Steven Mead, and Daniel Perantoni. He has also studied with Roger Bobo, and Dr. Benjamin Pierce. He previously served on the faculty of the Ithaca College - School of Music, Eastern Michigan University, at Penn State University as a visiting professor, and as a visiting tutor for tuba and euphonium at the Conservatoire National de Region in Perpignan, France. Aaron is a Denis Wick - London artist and design specialist, having recently designed their complete Ultra Range AT signature series tuba mouthpieces. He is also a Buff et Group Tuba/Euphonium Artist and Clinician, and exclusively performs on the MW 6450/2 CC Tuba, MW 2165/2 CC Tuba, MW 2182/W F Tuba, and the Besson 2052-2 Prestige Euphonium.

Terry Warburton is the President and Founder of Warburton Music Products. He started playing trumpet at the age of 14, later played trombone for ten years, and began performing professionally at a young age. Through his playing experiences, he developed a unique perspective into the needs of brass players. With more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing brass instrument mouthpieces, Terry is known worldwide for his quality work and ingenuity.
In the early 70s, Terry became inspired to learn to make brass instrument mouthpieces while working for the Canadian music company, Long and McQuade. Determined to start his own company, he spent time observing and learning from Bob Giardinelli in New York, bought his own lathe, began making his own tools, and with the help of machinist Eric Davies learned the tricks of the trade.
Beyond the world of brass mouthpieces, Terry has invented or had a hand in developing several developmental tools for both woodwind and brass players. More recently, Terry came up with a design for wooden brass mutes, now known as Warburton Woody Mutes. These beautifully handcrafted mutes are available for trumpet, trombone, and French horn in a variety of wood types. Currently, Terry is working to develop a full line of Warburton Trumpets. Never satisfi ed with the status quo, Terry is constantly thinking about new designs and products for the future.

they are committed to lesser know works for tuba euphonium quartet, new commissions and our own compositions and arrangements. Their talents, humor and friendship comes through in their dynamic performances that are a treat to all audiences.
