• Handmade in Britain was established in 2007 to provide a platform to support and promote design and craft talent through fairs, events and pop-ups
• We are committed to promoting the work of contemporary makers to increase accessibility and create new market opportunities

WHAT WE DO

Following a successful launch, which saw 7,500
buying public in the summer of 2019 this popular four
day consumer–led event, Handmade Oxford – The International Contemporary Arts Festival returns to the
beautiful surroundings of Waterperry Gardens in Oxford,
from Thursday 25 – Sunday 28 June 2020.
Held in a series of purpose-built marquees located on the
lawns in front of Waterperry House our event appeals to
our ever growing informed and highly motivated audience
of shoppers, collectors, residents and tourists, alongside
both galleries and professional trade buyers alike.
Continuing our partnership with Waterperry Gardens, well
known for hosting Art in Action (1977 - 2016), Handmade
Oxford will continue to bring together over 250 of
the most exciting UK-based and international makers,
featuring contemporary crafts, interiors and lifestyle, fine
art and print, sustainable living and wellbeing, workshops,
demonstrations brought to us by our exhibitors, artisan
food and more.

EMERGING TALENTS EXHIBITOR PACKAGE
1.5 x 1m stand: £495 + VAT
Please allow for the thickness of the wall panels in the size requested (approximately 5.5cm each). There is a half metre partition wall between each stand as you will be exhibiting as part of Arts Thread. Two spotlights are included as part of this package, with additional stand electrics available to purchase in advance of the show.

• Painted white wooden walls at 9ft (2.74m)
• 300mm deep timber fascia – supported by poles at each corner and intermittently along the lengths of larger stands.

Handmade Oxford is a lovely event, well organised, with a wide range of arts/crafts disciplines
represented. The public was knowledgeable and interested and many of them were willing to commission and buy things which are unique, be it as presents for others, themselves or to add to

ACCOMMODATIONCamping Facilities at Waterperry Gardens
Add to your experience by camping within the grounds of Waterperry Gardens, which provides quick walking access to the exhibition site and after show networking and socialising.
• Camp between Tuesday 23 June - Monday 29 June 2019
• Book up to six nights camping (minimum four nights)
• Exclusive exhibitor-only camping (families welcome)
• You will be required to bring your own tent/s or campervan/caravan and camping equipment
• Shower and toilet facilities available
• Covered area with microwave and kettles for making hot drinks and heating food (no other electricity points will be provided)
• Gas camping stoves are permitted
• Barbeques and campfires permitted in roped off area
• Dogs are welcome, but must be kept under control and on leads. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the formal gardens or Handmade Oxford marquees.
• Free overnight car parking (one vehicle per couple/family)
• Opportunity to park next to your tent if preferred
• £20 per adult per night (children under 14 FREE)

Handmade Chelsea - The Contemporary Craft and Design Fair returns to Chelsea Old Town Hall from Friday 13 – Sunday 15 November. Now in its 14th year, this renowned, contemporary show will be open to the public for three full days, with a Thursday evening VIP private view.
A celebration of the very best in high-end design and craftsmanship from over 100 highly-skilled, international and UK-based designer-makers, the fair is carefully-curated and designed to an extremely high standard.
Handmade Chelsea exhibitors gain new buyers, press and industry contacts. As spaces are highly sought-after in each discipline, we do advise applying early before the deadline of Thursday 30 April.
