The International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IFBB) and PFBB - IFBB-Portugal welcome all the IFBB-affiliated National Federations of the World to the IFBB Elite PRO Portugal , Sunday, June 11th 2018.
It will be the first time that Portugal will hold an IFBB Elite PRO competition, it will be supporting the great amateur competition of the "IFBB Diamond Cup" Series and our sport fair: EXPO FITNESS.
For the second time, Espinho will host this event, welcoming IFBB federations around the world. Espinho is a modern city, a high-level tourist resort that welcomes thousands of national and foreign visitors throughout the year. This city has one of the best climates in Europe (low thermal amplitude: 23º, C in summer) and is located just a few km from Sá Carneiro Airport in Oporto, thanks to easy road and rail routes.
In very back times, a small boat that sailed along the coast was caught in bad sea and shipwrecked. Two men, Spanish from Galiza, survived the tragedy, says the legend that thanks to a promise made to “Nossa Senhora” to build a Chapel in Her honor if She enabled them to be saved. When they felt a firm ground beneath their feet, the two mens - Eugénio and Márcio Esteves, stopped their attention on the wooden plank they had been saved in: one said that it was made of nut-brown, but the other guaranteed: "No! És Piño!" (No! Is Pino!) And from here there will be the name of Espinho.
Just 30 minutes by car from the Airport of Sá Carneiro, Porto; Espinho have the service assure by car or train. ⇨Train – travel of approximately 15 minutes; ⇨Car – transport of PFBB (10€ per person).
The Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport also called Aeroporto do Porto is located in the Greater Porto. It was inaugurated in 1945, on December 3, as Pedras Rubras Airport and, in 1990, it went to Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, honoring the Prime Minister Francisco Sá Carneiro. In 2007, the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport was awarded as the best in Europe in the category of airports up to 5 million passengers.

The place of the competition, once again, will be the Polivalente Nave, is located at: Place de Sales - Silvalde - 4500-474, Espinho, Portugal.
The Expo Fitness 2018 is a Fitness Fair and will take place on 09 and 10 June. There will be various activities, from Bodybuilding, Strongman, Strongwomen, Powerlifing and Jiu-Jitsu. In the immensity of space, you can find brands and national and international supplementation stores, such as BiotechUSA; Fit foods to not give up on the diet; and comfortable sports clothes and for all seasons of the year. When you need a break, rest on one of the benches of our interior garden - Central Park, before moving on to the next activity. The entry price will be 6€. For IFBB athletes and delegates is free!
For the first time, Portugal will hold an ELITE PRO! The competition will be on June 10, at 6:00 pm, in the Nave. The prize will be 28.000€, more than $33.000 (USA), and will be divided by the categories of: ♦ WOMEN’S BIKINI FITNESS – 5.000€ ♦ MEN’S PHYSIQUE – 5.000€ ♦ WOMEN’S BODYFITNESS – 5.000€ ♦ WOMEN’S WELLNESS FITNESS – 5.000€ ♦ MEN’S BODYBUILDING – 8.000€

Registration will be made at the Nave Polivalente: Lugar de Sales - Silvalde, Espinho, Portugal; Friday, June 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (https://goo.gl/maps/h31fW2rFKgE2).
The athletes must have the annual ELITE PRO (150 €) paid.

The songs used in the individual routine can only be on CD. Each athlete must identify their CD with the readable name. CDs are delivered at weigh-ins. IMPORTANT: THE USE OF MUSICS WITH IMPROPER OR PROFANA LANGUAGE IS PROHIBITED. CHOREOGRAPHIES CAN NOT HAVE ANY STYLES.
The IFBB banned all tones that can be removed. A designated IFBB official will check the tanning of all athletes behind the scenes and, if the tan is left simply by running the finger, the athlete will be advised to remove the tan before taking the stage. There will be an IFBB partner in weighing, making markings. Regarding Make-up/Hair, the PFBB partner will be on weighing, receiving markings.
Green cards are used to access backstage. They also give access to Expo Fitness. The value is € 30 and will be on sale at the weighing and reception of athletes.
Team managers and judges are due to attend a meeting on Friday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m. All judges and delegates are required to attend the meeting.
Any image / video capturing on backstage or in changing areas is prohibited except with the permission of the IFBB. For accreditations, contact the PFBB by email: [email protected] .
To be taken into consideration during selection of judges panels at the competition, IFBB International Judges must be included in the Final Entry Forms sent by National Federations, according to the IFBB Rules. It is the National Federations responsibility to obtain an entry visa for the country organizing the championship. All National Federations could ask for an Invitation letter either to the Championship Organizer or IFBB. The invitation letter does not mean you are granted your visa. IFBB and Championship organizer are not responsible of attendants visas. To receive invitation letter, the applicant should forward the following information to the IFBB or Championship organizer: • A copy of passport; • Where the attendant will have his or her accommodation. If the visa is not granted, the Cancellation Policies for the championship will still apply. An athlete, who requested and received an invitation from the IFBB Head Office or the Organizing Committee of an IFBB sanctioned event for visa purposes and used this visa to unlawful stay in the host country or any other country, will be subjected to the disciplinary proceedings and measures.
