Respected Members,

When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build

windmills.

Change is the only constant. Embracing change and adapting and evolving to

accept change and make use of it as a tailwind that drives us further rather

than as headwinds that slow us down is a trait that is necessary and expected

of every consummate professional.

The country’s biggest tax reform – GST and it’s first compliance filing is nearly

upon us. The last 30 days have been accompanies by a steep learning curve,

one that is still steadily climbing. Every members must take upon himself to

enlighten and educate those around him with regard to adopt of the GST law

and comply with it in the fullest so that our nation can have in place a

wonderful tax system that in the long run will definitely be very rewarding.

The recently announced results of the CA Final, IPCC and CPT exams have seen

many successful students. I congratulate and welcome those that have

complete their CA finals into the fraternity. For those than have progressed

with positive results – Congratulation and all the best for the balance journey.

For those who efforts have not been met with success, do not be

disheartened, the purest gold has to pass through the hottest of flames. Put in

your heart and soul with a renewed effort and I’m sure success will be yours.

The next two months will be a test of focus and perseverance for our

members. We have the Tax audit filing deadlines as well as the GST filing

deadlines in close proximity. I wish all the members all the best. Plan well,

plan ahead and account of contingencies and I’m sure it will be smooth sailing.
