THE IMPORTANCE OF CHOOSING CAREERS Often do people find “job” and “career” have the same meaning, I myself used to be one of them. However, these two words are remarkably different in that a job is something you do simply to earn money and insignificantly influences on your future work life, while a career has many things to do with money in which your god-given abilities and skills are utilized. For this reason, we had better deliberate in deciding which jobs will be our life-time careers. Going throught different jobs Exposing to various jobs to get first-hand feel for them is a way to find the right career. Rarely do people can find their long-term careers from birth; very few are luckier since their starter jobs or internships are also their careers. As a piece of evidence, I have a friend who is the chairwoman at Speak Up english coffee shop where I’m working as a volunteer. She graduated from Lotus Uni with a BA’s degree in business, after working for 7 months as a administration assistant, she felt daunted by getting up each morning with tons of work that she had no interest. Then, she quit that job and accepted to work as a Teaching Assistant in the Youth Foreigner Language Center even though she would be sent to Indonesia for higher position. Being asked “why would you do that?” , she just said “ now, I do know what I wanna be and just .. chasing my dream..” Now, by studying at The Uni of linguistic she wishes to make English teaching her life-time career. It’s obvious that deciding what to do for a living isn’t easy. More harshly, many people even have to go ups and downs of life to figure out what professions appeal to them. Making right career choices There are hundreds of vacancies, job opportunities and career options out there that one of which may require you a great effort to find out what it is. Accordingly, knowing who you are and what you love to do will benefit you a lot

Asking yourself these questions will make it easier for you to find out what you are going to do for a living.Yes, it costs you some time to make a decision but you will have a life-time career that you wake up every morning with spiritedness and ardent mind or you rather spend whole life in finding something else that you dont even know?
