There are many areas in which technology has impacted on interpersonal relationships in families …- reproductive technology (eg. IVF, GIFT, ICSI, fertility drugs, freezing eggs/sperm)- genetic engineering (eg. food products, health and medical)

- household technologies (eg. alarm systems, remote control, washer/dryer combination)- computer and communications technologies (eg. interactive TV, internet, mobile phone)
