Our international students will have more assistant than ever before in their integration to our American
society due to the new ESL program. Students who have learning difficulties will be given an educational plan
and special assistance at The Howe School. Students will have a Spanish teacher and will not have to rely solely
on Rosetta Stone for their foreign language requirement.
Teachers at The Howe School are writing weekly plans that identify the Indiana State Standards, there is a
year-long test prep class, and teachers are reviewing data in order to help students improve their ACT and SAT
test scores.
The Howe School has access this year to an on-line e-library that will assist in research. The new e-library
will also be helpful in providing students with periodicals and books. This is the same system many colleges and
universities are using today.
This has started out to be a great school year. There is a commitment to a great education, a fine core of
students, and the excitement of a new school year. We all wish to make 2013-14 the best academic year yet!
