The National Regulators Roundtable© brings together regulators from throughout the country to discuss challenges, concerns and issues facing
individual jurisdictions in the oversight of the ever-changing workers’ compensation industry. Problems faced by one jurisdiction may have
already been successfully addressed by another. A developing issue or concern in one state may be an omen for future developments in another
and certainly, legislative issues know no boundaries. The National Regulators Roundtable© is a forum where regulators share lessons learned
and seek timely answers to their most pressing issues.

& Guaranty Funds”

funds, bankruptcies, & resources to assist with related decisions.

A state’s workers’ comp system is routinely considered by employers, both those currently in your state as well as those looking to locate in your state, as one of the cost factors that impact profitability. Andrew Sabolic shares
the importance and key elements of a comprehensive enforcement program that encourages voluntary compliance with the WC laws, levies appropriate
penalties for non-compliance, and serves to create an economically level playing field for all employers.

Session 8: “All Things Medical ”

Medical issues and their related costs have grown over the past 20 years
untill they now represent the majority of every dollar spent on workers’
comp. “All Things Medical” will provide an introduction into the various
medical components including treatment guidelines, pharmaceuticals,
utilization, and many more issues with which regulators struggle with as
they strive to balance the needs of the injured workers and the desires of
the industry amid the reality of constantly changing medical technology.
Session 9: “Document Management & Work Flow Processes ”

On August 24th at 2pm Workers’ Compensation Regulators from
