The Home Temple School of Sacred Studies offers Degree Programs and Certifications suitable for non-professional home ministries and chaplaincies. These are not academic degrees or professional certificates. Our Degrees are not accredited by an accrediting organization. They are church credentials for development of Home Temple ministry.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT IN CERTIFICATE AND DEGREE PROGRAMS

If you are an Ordained Home Temple Deacon or Priest, or if you have been accepted into Home Temple Ordination studies with three character references and commenced the Diaconate Module, you can register for the Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) Degree Program and work on that concurrently. Prerequisite for registration in the Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) Degree Program is enrollment in the basic modules for Ordination to the Sacred Apostolic Diaconate and Priesthood. The Ordination Modules and B.D. Program can be completed in less than one academic year, with both Ordinations received in one ceremony at the annual summer Ordination Retreat and Seminar, along with conferral of the Bachelor of Divinity Degree. The B.D. Degree is not required for Ordination as a Priest. The B.D. Degree cannot be conferred until you have completed all requirements for Ordination as a Priest.

Ordination into the Priesthood and conferral of the B.D. Degree are prerequisite for registration in M.Div. or D.D. Degree Programs. Either of these fulfills the Home Temple academic criterion for Synodal nomination to Consecration as a Bishop.

Once you have been accepted into the Ordination Program, you can register for the Certificate Programs in Pastoral Counseling and Pastoral Hypnotherapy at any point in your studies or after Ordination. Certificates can be earned concurrent with Ordination Studies and conferred at the annual summer Ordination Retreat or simply by mail.

If you have registered with the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy to prepare for Certification as a Homeopath, you can also register for the Doctoral Program in Vitalistic Healing (D.V.H.). There is no requirement to apply or study for Home Temple Apostolic Ordination. All coursework is done through the Caduceus Institute and the Wisdom Seminars web site. However, you have the option to be licensed and authorized as a Healing Minister of the Home Temple once you are registered with the D.V.H. Degree Program.

The Baccalaureate in Divinity is a seminary degree program offered to Priests and Priestesses of the independent Apostolic churches, including those of the Home Temple. The emphasis of the program is immersion in the historical teachings of Mar Yeshua, the Master Jesus—as opposed to ecclesiastical dogma and theological doctrine offered by Christian churches. Through a study of the Aramaic language, vocabulary, Jewish Kabbalistic and Messianic concepts used by Jesus, we arrive at a new, unique, and profound understanding of the Master’s teachings.

Curriculum is supplied online at www.wisdomseminars.org through the module entitled: Yeshua: The Unknown Jesus. The student is required to complete the curriculum by writing (or dictating on cassette tape) a study interpreting five of the logia and parables of Yeshua following clearly defined rubrics that earn specific percentages. A total of 70% is required for graduation and 90% for graduation cum laude (with honors).

PROPOSAL TO ADD SRI JAGGANATH DIPLOMA AND DEGREE PROGRAMS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY School exists informally world-wide under Guru Sanjay Rath, who is brilliant genius from Vedic Astrology family lineage and is passing on his exquisite knowledge through students whom he eventually designates as gurus. Willa Keizer would serve as Director of this Program which, under the School of Sacred Studies, would be an educational project of Caduceus Institute (as specified in Articles of Home Temple Incorporation). Sri Jagganath organization would provide online sites with written, video, and MP3 files sponsored by the School of Sacred Studies. After gaining basic understanding of Vedic astrological terms and sky, students would be mentored by Sri Jagganath gurus. When they achieve basic competence, they would be nominated by a guru for the Diploma in Vedic Astrology, which would be granted by the Home Temple School of Sacred Studies. We would begin with a one-year Diploma and expand as the program develops.
