The Tavern was built in 1793. Its purpose was to accommodate,
freight wagon drivers, stagecoach travelers,horseback riders and
drovers of cattle on the Old Province Road.
It is constructed with a touch of extreme Yankee Engineering
The main house measures 40X30 with a 15x 15 foot Center
Chimney base of dry stone.
