Thisweekend, theHispanoSuizaCarmencruisedaround thestreetsofMadridforthefirsttime,drivingdownthefamousstreetsofthecapital.HispanoSuiza’s new creation, defined as a fully-electric “hyperlux” car,will be driven by a teamofdriversincludingLuisPérezSala,ambassadordriver;SergioMartínezCampos,thebrand’sCEO;andLlucMartí,thetechnicaldirectoroftheCarmen.WithlessthanayeartogobeforedeliveriestocustomerswillbegininJune2020,theCarmen’sdebutinMadridhasbeenatotalsuccess,amazinglocalsandtouristsinthecapitalofSpain.Throughouttheday,ithasbeencruisingalongthemainstreetsofthecitylikethePaseodelaCastellana,GranVia,andEstacióndeAtochaandaroundthecapital’smainiconiclandmarkslike Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Cibeles, the Prado Museum, Retiro Park, the Fountain ofNeptune,theRoyalPalace…ThetripincludedastopatsomeofthemostexclusivehotelsinMadridwhereitsguestswereabletoseeandexperiencetheexceptionalityoftheCarmenforthemselves.

SincetheworlddebutoftheCarmenattheGenevaMotorShow,thedevelopmentteamhascontinuedworkingtohavethefinalversionofthehypersportscar,thevehicleinthefinalstageofdevelopment.Inrecentmonths,theteamhasbeenworkingonacompletesetofon-roadtests. The car now has a completely new suspension system along with a set of weightreduction and rigidity enhancements. The development of the chassis also includes crash-structure optimization with extensive use of carbon fiber, improving its performance andreducingitsweight.MiguelSuquéMateu,presidentofHispanoSuiza,said,“Weareveryproudofourheritage,andwewantthepeopleofMadridtoseethestorkdrivingthroughitsstreetsagain.HispanoSuizaisoneoftheonlyautomotivebrandscurrentlyinthemarketwithprospectsforinternationalexpansioninthepresentandfutureandwith100%Spanishcapital.”
