Harry and Tully on their daily walk down Sawpit Gully Rd When you arrive please park outside the double gates and ask your folks to put you on a lead to enter The Hide. When getting back into the car at anytime please make sure you are on a lead before you leave The Hide. We have made a 12m x 6m fenced area for you as part of The Hide. This is more to stop us (Harry and Tully) making unwelcome visits to you. If you are a jumper or an escape artist the fencing will not keep you in, so your folks must make sure you don’t get out on your own because you might be tempted to chase kangaroos, ducks or our precious goslings. There is a gate into the back left hand paddock. From this gate you could ask your folks to: take you into the paddock for a run and a swim in the dam if there are no kangaroos or geese OR on a lead up to the gate that leads you to the driveway for a big walk along Sawpit Gully Road (turn left at the top of the drive and keep going straight down the road. If you get to number 410 you have gone 2.05 km) Please bring towels to dry your feet and body before coming inside (it gets a bit wet up here in winter) and swimming in the dam is messy business. Harry and Tully on their daily walk down Sawpit Gully Rd

ü When you arrive please park outside the double gates and ask your folks to put you on a lead to enter The Hide. When getting back into the car at anytime please make sure you are on a lead before you leave The Hide.

ü We have made a 12m x 6m fenced area for you as part of The Hide. This is more to stop us (Harry and Tully) making unwelcome visits to you. If you are a jumper or an escape artist the fencing will not keep you in, so your folks must make sure you don’t get out on your own because you might be tempted to chase kangaroos, ducks or our precious goslings.

ü There is a gate into the back left hand paddock. From this gate you could ask your folks to:

★ take you into the paddock for a run and a swim in the dam if there are no kangaroos or geese OR

★ on a lead up to the gate that leads you to the driveway for a big walk along Sawpit Gully Road (turn left at the top of the drive and keep going straight down the road. If you get to number 410 you have gone 2.05 km)

ü Please bring towels to dry your feet and body before coming inside (it gets a bit wet up here in winter) and swimming in the dam is messy business.

For all our mates coming to stay…

ü We understand some dogs get on the furniture at home so it will hard not to get on the furniture at The Hide. So, if this is the case please bring clean, non smelly sheets to cover the furniture completely and be careful when taking the sheets off not to shake the hairs all over the furniture.

ü If you’ve got a favourite blanket, bed or mattress ask your folks to bring it up for your holiday.

ü After you’ve done number ‘2’s’ please let your folks know so they can clean it up (bags provided in the wood bin) . Then ask your folks to put the bag in the rubbish bin.

ü We have a large mob of kangaroos that graze regularly in the paddocks please don’t chase them or the ducks and geese, they’re our friends. The geese may have babies so please don’t frighten them either.

ü Please don’t walk around our house garden as we have chooks, ducks and geese and of course if we are around we are very protective of them and our property.

ü If your folks go out you need to go with them and not be left at ‘home alone’ as you may bark from ‘separation anxiety’ and being in a strange place!

ü We know you’ll enjoy your break away with your family so we have left some ‘treats’ for you while your folks enjoy their glass of wine.

ü Just remember your folks take full responsibility for you and your actions and in order for The Hide to remain pet friendly it needs to be kept clean and in good repair for other guests - even those without dogs!

Here’s to dogs having comfort in the country. ENJOY !

Cheers

Harry and Tully

In warm weather please beware of snakes in particular mid afternoons. We keep all the lawns mowed short to reduce any risk and would advise strongly against paddock walks in warmer weather.

PS. Any damage you cause to property or other animals will be the total responsibility and cost to your owners.
