IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR PARENTS

Parking and Vehicles around the School Site PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ON TO THE SCHOOL SITE UNLESS PICKING UP OR

DROPPING OFF A STUDENT WITH A PHYSICAL DISABILITY.

PLEASE DO NOT STOP OR PARK NEAR TO EITHER ENTRANCE (Heath Lane or Anchor Lane).

Students may be dropped off and collected from Beechfield Road or the Sportspace car park in Heath Lane (please be aware of the maximum 20 minutes wait time). When parking in nearby roads please do not park on the pavement (obstructing wheelchair or double buggy access) or across residents’ driveways. If everybody follows these guidelines then we should be able to ensure that the flow of traffic around the school is reasonable at all times, that all users can access the site effectively and, most importantly, that we are able to keep all our students safe. Many thanks.

Parents’ Circle on Gender issues

Tuesday 25 April at 7.30 pm The date of the next parents' circle is confirmed for Tuesday 25th April at 7.30 pm at the Rudolf Steiner School, Kings Langley. The circle has grown and has drawn families from Watford as well as Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding villages. All are welcome to attend and share, listen and support each other; if you know someone who'd be interested, whether parents, aunts and uncles or teachers wanting to support young people who are exploring their gender identity, they will all be warmly welcomed. This month, there will be a visitor from Youth Connexions Hertfordshire to talk about the services they offer young LGBT+ people in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and elsewhere. Gender what Gender? Find them on Facebook and Twitter

We’ll be happy to receive carrier bags and bin bags too! For a full list of acceptable items, please visit http://uk.bag2school.com/what-we-collect.
