THE HEATHFIELD PARTNERSHIP The Heathfield Partnership is very pleased to have played a part in producing this guide. Our objectives are to be the catalyst of the regeneration of Heathfield and to raise the Town’s prospects and prosperity. We will be following this brochure up with three modern information boards located throughout the Town. In addition, our website, www.heathfield.net, has a section promoting all the businesses and services located within the Heathfield & Waldron Parish. Listings are free and there is a small annual charge for a link to the business’s own website. A great deal of investment is shortly going into that site to create location maps and improve the search engines to ensure ease of access and increased promotion. We have installed six Public Information Points dotted around the Town and surrounding villages. These provide free computer access to public information including tourist material and all businesses on www.heathfield.net. The Public Information Points are located at the following venues: Heathfield Library, Heathfield Youth Centre, Heathfield Co-Op, Heathfield Wessons Café, Horam The Crown Inn, Burwash Road Half Moon Public House, Cade Street, Old Heathfield Since 1994 we have been endeavouring to draw in finance to completely rejuvenate the Town and its appearance. Through all the street phases we have completed we have set out to secure disabled access to all properties to ensure statutory compliance to the 2004 Act. The banks stretch and the parade end of the high street are scheduled for completion in 2009.
