    One obvious response t o th is d ilemma i s to say t ha t we w i l l focusour e f f o r t s on l y toward increas i ng t he e f f i c i ency w i t h w hi ch b i o f ue l i sused, bu t not encourage anyone to use more of i t . T h i s would seem tosa t i s f y bo t h goa l s and t o resonat e w i t h our genera l l y f avorab l eexper ience when increasing var ious types o f prod uct i v i ty i n the pas t .Unf or t una t el y, however, i t i s d i f f i c u l t i f no t i mposs ib le i n househol dst o do on l y one t h i ng . Chang i ng t he e f f i c i enc y o f s t oves w i l l change howthey can be used, how th ey a r e percei ved, a nd wh at and how much theyw i l l b e e xp ec te d t o d o .
