1. Askthegardenownerbeforetakingphotos.Almosteveryonewillsayyes.Askseparatelyabouttheuseoftripods.
2. Stayonfootpaths,stairwaysandbridges.Thiswillensurethatyouarenotcompromisingbeds,slopes,orwaterways,andthatyouwillkeepyourfooting.
3. Leaveplanttagsinthegroundorthepotwheretheplantislocated.Askyourhosttoidentifyplantsifyoucannotreadthetagsinplace.
4. Ifyoudoaskthenameofaplant,makesureyouhaveanotebookandpencilatthereadytorecordit.Youmaythinkyouwillremember,butyouwon’t;noneofusremembers.
5. Ifthereareothervisitorsduringyourtour,makesureeveryonehasaccesstothehosttoaskquestions.
6. Refrainfromremovinganyplants(evenweeds)orpartsofplants.

ThisyearwedecidedtolocatetheGardenConservancy/HPSOOpenGardenstourinClarkCounty.Ithasn'tbeenheldonthatsideoftheriversince2005anditseemedtimetoagainhonorournorth-of-the-Columbianeighbors.Fiveexquisitegardensofvaryingsizesandstyleswillbefeatured.We'reexcitedaboutthisyear'stourwhichfeaturesfinegardensrarelyorneverseenbyourmembership.Itpromisestobeawonderful,fun,andinspirationaldayandwehopeyou'lljoinus!
Ticketsarebeingpresentedinanewformthisyear;insteadofticketbooklets,tour-goerswillgainentrancetothegardensbywayofdaypasses.Leftoverticketsfrompasttourswillbehonoredboththisyearandinfuture,butarebeingphasedout.ForHPSOmembers,daypassescanbepurchasedinadvanceattheHPSOwebsitefor$20.00(asavingsof$10.00!)forallfivegardens.Onthedayoftheevent,passeswillbesoldonsitefor$30.00.Admissiontoindividualgardenswillbe$7.00atthegarden’sentry.TherewillbeHPSOeventsignsinplacetohelpyoufindthelocations.
