Dear Colleagues, We are glad to invite you for National Conference on New Horizons in Cancer Biology to be held at Ahmedabad during March 16-17, 2018. The conference is organized by The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI) and Gujarat Cancer Society (GCS). The theme of the conference is “Empowering Cancer Biology to strengthen ght against cancer”. We are looking forward for an active participation of leading scientists, academicians, clinicians and students in the conference. This is an attempt made to bring together distinguished scientists from various parts of India and budding researchers to discuss and deliberate on the emerging trends and future prospects of various topics in Cancer Biology.

Objectives / Focus • To deliberate on recent advances in genetics, epigenetics

and proteomics in realm of clinical applications in oncology.

• To explore novel insights into the complexity of the connections between Cancer Biology and its translational importance.

• To improve expertise in Cancer Biology from senior experts who are rooted in this eld.

• Understanding basic research strategies with its right balance of clinical relevance covering the entire spectrum of various issues in oncology.

March is an ideal time in Ahmedabad when the weather is pleasant. We sincerely hope that the blend of pleasant weather, warm hospitality and revitalizing social evenings will make the scientic environment richer.

• Abstracts should be sent along with the registration form.• It should be mentioned whether the abstract is for Poster presentation

or Oral presentation/Award competition.• Suitability for acceptance for Oral/Poster/Award category will be

judged by scientic committee. • All the abstracts should have a title, authors name, afliation and

Email ID.• The word limit for the abstracts is 350 words and should be in Times

New Roman, font size 12, alignment justied.• The abstracts should be structured into: Aim, Methods, Results,

Conclusion.• Last date for abstract submission is February 20, 2018 which will be

strictly followed for selection of abstracts in award category.
