Dates planned for April weekends with a possibility of extending into May weekends.Farm Tour activities may include candle dipping, crafts, music, hayride, farm animals, reptile show, archery, tomahawk throwing, slingshot gallery, lilac maze, and more! Limited availability. Prepaid tickets are strongly recommended to guarantee your place, and can be purchased at www.fortcross.comFresh cut lilac bouquets available when in bloom. The Julian Woman’s Club will hold its annual Wildflower Show on Friday, April 30, and Saturday, May 1, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day at the Julian Woman’s Club, 2607 “C” Street, Julian. If you enjoyed looking at pictures in last year’s Virtual Wildflower Show, then you will love seeing these wildflowers and more in person! Enjoy the art from our local schools and handicrafts from our talented club

members. Get educated about our beautiful country environment, nature and why we call wildflowers the Jewels of the Backcountry.Specialty items will be on sale: Wildflower seeds, Quilted items for gardeners; Spring and Summer decorations. All items will be hand-crafted by members of the Julian Woman’s Club. Face Masks will be required to enter the clubhouse.

Everyone is welcome to this annual art event at the Town Hall, 2129 Main St., Julian, proudly brought to you by the Julian Arts Guild. Featuring local artists and artwork for sale. $1 Art Raffle with dozens of prizes to win.

JUNE12: Taste of Julian

Julian’s Annual Celebration of Julian Faire shows there is more to Julian than apples! While apples will always be revered by the hamlet of Julian, we have more than apples to celebrate and Taste of Julian is designed to do just that…celebrate the deliciously diverse culinary delights Julian has to offer. The event is a self-guided tour of participating restaurants and tasting rooms in the Julian area.The event will be held on June 12, 2021 from 12:30pm to 5pm.2021 ticket sales will be reduced. Jeweler Patricia Lynn McConnell wants to be challenged with jewelry, so she pushes the limits; making each custom order unique and one-of-a-kind. The addition of rare stones and gemstones constitutes a unique and personal touch to the final product. Patricia has won awards at the San Diego County Fair for her custom-designed pendants and has sold her work in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Patricia frequently enters her custom jewelry designs into the San Diego County Fair every June. In 2019, she won two first place ribbons as well as winning the “Tom Schneider” sponsored award titled “Best Exhibit.” Patricia also has a booth in the Gem and Mineral building during the fair.

Patricia McConnell holds a Master’s Degree in fine arts and related technologies from San Diego State University, and also holds a lifetime teaching credential.

Visit California Wolf Center, one of San Diego county’s top wildlife attractions that is fun for the whole family! We’re a non-profit organization dedicated to the return of wild wolves to the wildlands they once roamed, offering Julian visitors unique experiences at our two locations.

Book a Wolf Tour at Our Conservation FacilityCome see wolves up close, including our resident North American gray wolf pack and critically endangered Mexican gray wolves. California Wolf Center’s conservation facility is just a short drive outside of downtown Julian. You’ll learn about wolves and wolf behavior, as well as how our conservation efforts have brought the Mexican gray wolf back from the brink of extinction.

Tours are offered year-round, Friday through Monday, and are by reservation only. California Wolf Center members and children 4 and under receive free admission. Book your tour at californiawolfcenter.org
