WhatAreTheyUpToTheseDays?Picturetheoldcountrystorewithsomepickerssittingaroundplayingmusicandjawingaboutthenewsoftheday.Onefellowlooksovertoanemptychairandasks“Ihaven’tseenol’soandsoforawhile.Anybodyknowwhattheyareuptothesedays?”For30plusyearsGreenApplehasseenmanypeoplegraceitsstage.RangingfromfirsttimerstoseasonedprofessionalstheyallhavesharedwonderfulmomentsandmusicwithGreenAppleaudiences.Asitiswithmuchoflife,peoplecomeintoourlivesandarenotforgotten.ItisnodifferentwithGreenApple.SteveHazell’stouchinglyrics,smoothmelodies,exquisiteguitarplayinganddrywithaveenthralledusforyears.Howeverpeopleareasking,“WhatisSteveuptothesedays?”Overagoodmealandafinebrew,SteveandItalkedaboutjustthatverything.Hereissomeofwhatwetalkedabout.GA:Firstabitofhistory,whataresomeofthefunctions/rolesyouhaveheldatGreenApple?Steve:Ihavebeenaboardmember,co-president,andIhavedonepublicitywork.GA:DoyourememberthefirsttimeyouplayedontheGreenApplestage?Steve:YesIdo.Ididthreesongsoneofwhichwas“HereComestheSun”.IrememberthebackroomandDean’s“KeepItShort”speech.Irememberthewholeexperience.
