I Have a Dream

Martin made speeches. His biggest speech was his “I Have a Dream” speech. He said, “I have a dream that one day black and white boys and girls will join hands.”

What He Believed

He believed that one day his four children would not be judged by their color but how they act. He believed he could make things better. He wanted good for all.

He Made Things Better

• Things weren’t fair so Martin made things better. He made a boycott about the buses. Rosa Parks took the bus home one evening and a white man told her to get up. She was too tired so she didn't . She was arrested. Martin heard about it.

When and How He Died

Martin was standing outside of his motel room and then James Earl Ray shot him. He went to jail. Martindied in the hospital.
