Our Stationary Earth:The Great Cosmological Lie

The great recurring theme in the Old Testament is Israel's rebellion against God,

which in turn centers largely on her attraction to idolatry. The Enemy succeeds time

after time in convincing the Chosen Peole that the many blessings of life ! the

bounteous rain, the lentiful harvests, the wellbeing of their livestoc", and much else

besides ! derived, not from the #O$%, but from the many gods worshied by the

agan nations around them. &o they, in turn, set u altars in high laces and burned

incense to the gods. Every time they did this they violated the first commandment and

gave great offense to the wonderful God who had ta"en them from slavery andoression in Egyt and led them safely into the land of Canaan, a land flowing with

mil" and honey.

(hen )e gave them the #aw he warned them of the great dangers osed by the fallen

angels. These were the gods or suernatural entities that the agans entreated and

worshied through their countless idols. The (ord of God refers to them many times

throughout the Old Testament as the host of heaven. The danger that they osed

was so great that the #O$% even instituted the second commandment to rotect )is

eole from their enslaving influence*

There is a delorable tendency today to forget that the first two commandments are

very much concerned with rotecting man from the ower of the fallen angels+

otice how the (ord of God couched this warning* lest thou...be driven to worshi

them, and serve them. -en are beguiled and seduced by these forces and tric"ed into

serving them. This assage of &criture shows how hard it is for man, once he has

fallen into the it of idolatry, to climb bac" out again.

In a narrower sense, idolatry is attributing any art of the ower and authority of God

to any created thing. (hen the Israelites worshied their idols, they were vesting in

wood and stone the ower to do what God alone can do. /nd that is idolatry+

Today science has become an idol for a huge roortion of educated eole in the

western world. They believe the entire universe created itself out of nothing ! the so0

called 1ig 1ang theory. They believe matter then organi2ed itself into stars, lanetsand other celestial bodies, and that it went even further and roduced the vast

sectrum of lants and animal secies that we find on earth today, all by urely

'natural' means. -ost of the idols of old were made of stone, metal or wood, but today

the rincial idols of man"ind are made of comle3 ideas, mathematical formulas,

and subatomic articles. (e may loo" condescendingly at a bushman who bows

before a stone statue, but fail to see that anyone who assigns divine ower to a

comle3 scientific idea is e4ually suerstitious and deceived.

The Enemy is as "een to romote idolatry today as he was in Old Testament times.

5urthermore, he is 6ust as determined as he was then to get men to worshi the host

of heaven, to ascribe to the sun, moon and stars the ower and authority that Godalone ossesses. 5or centuries he did this through /strology, where men were

convinced that every asect of their lives was directed by astral emanations from the

lanets and stars. -ore recently, as art of his great End Time decetion, he has

advanced to the 'science' of astronomy and astrohysics. Through these he has been

able to romote the absurd lie "nown as the 1ig 1ang and to convince men that the

earth itself ! and thus the whole of man"ind ! is nothing more than a tiny,

very similar to the si2e of the earth in the hoto above. )owever, the earth's diameteris about four times that of the moon, so the earth as seen from the moon should loo"

considerably bigger, about two degrees in angular si2e, as shown in the hoto below*

was too late.

The hoto below is less well "nown but it too contains a revealing error*

It shows three astronauts ! the erson in whose visor we see a clear reflection, the

white0clad astronaut in the middle0ground who too" the hoto, and a third astronaut inthe bac"ground on the left. &ince there were three astronauts on each of the si3 moon0

landing missions, it might seem ossible for three astronauts to feature in a hoto of

this "ind, but not when you reali2e that the third astronaut on each mission always

remained in the casule orbiting above the moon and never came down to the lunar

surface.

that modern astronomy is based on an alternative model of reality.

It is a well "nown fact that it is ossible to witness a full moon from every location onearth at least once every thirty days, weather ermitting. -odern astronomy tells us

that a full moon is roduced only when the sun, earth and moon are in alignment, as

shown in the diagrams below. The first diagram shows how the moon must be slightly

above the lane of the earth in order to receive the unobstructed light of the sun, while

the second diagram shows the location on earth from which the full moon may be

observed*

The only way a full moon can be seen on a regular monthly basis in any chosen

location is if the earth itself is stationary ! 6ust as the 1ible states. /nd if the earth is

stationary, it must be flat since a stationary shere would be unable to receive the

sun's light on both sides.

The flatness of the earth can easily be observed from an airlane but the vast ma6ority

of man"ind are unable to ma"e this simle observation because they have been

conditioned to believe that what they are seeing is slightly curved. Even airline ilots

who observe the earth regularly from an altitude of si3 miles or so are unable to sha"e

off the illusion that the land

This salt lain is so flat that geologists estimate that over its entire e3tent its surface

varies in elevation by only a few inches.

#et's focus 6ust on the area inside the circle ! see ma below. Imagine that this was

once a very shallow la"e which comletely evaorated from time to time, leaving

behind a saline deosit. Each shower, when it came, leached a little more salt from the

surrounding hills. This saline solution then flowed over the broad flat terrain where

the water evaorated, leaving behind another fine layer of salt. These deosits

continued to accumulate over many centuries, one on to of another, to roduce an

ever e3anding salt bed beneath the surface of the la"e.

If the earth was a shere and 'gravity' caused the surface of any large body of water to

curve slightly over a large distance, then the surface of the salt lateau should be

slightly curved or dome0shaed, rather li"e an enormous contact lens ! but it isn't. In

other words, the center of the red circle in the ma above should be far higher than the

surrounding rim, but the circle is erfectly flat.

)ow could a erfectly level lane of that si2e form naturally on a sherical earth>Obviously it couldn't. Common sense tells us that the vast flat lain of the &alar could

only form in a la"e whose surface was e4ually flat.

& 3uestion<Could the surface of the &alar la"e been slightly curved and still roduce a salt bed

that was erfectly flat> The answer is no. /s the water evaorates it leaves a deosit

that mirrors the contours of the surface. The last 'force' acting on the salt is the surface

of the water. /s soon as it evaorates, it leaves the crystalline salt deosit fi3ed in the

salt bed. This means that in order to have roduced a flat lane BJ@ s4uare miles in

e3tent, the la"e surface too must have been erfectly flat across its entire e3tent.

Even if the floor of the la"e had been very uneven at the time the la"e was first

formed, ongoing evaoration would have caused the water that remained to

concentrate in the areas of the la"e bed that were deeest. (hen these eventually

filled with salt, the la"e would become more shallow and sread out over a wider area

as fresh showers of rain relenished the region. This rocess would have gone on year

after year until the 'la"e' was little more than a ool of water an inch or so dee

covering an area of BJ@ s4uare miles.
