ABSTRACT
. Grammatical errors are terms used in grammar to describe an example of an
incorrect, unconventional or controversial grammatic usage, such as a misplaced modifier or an inappropriate verb. This research was intended to find out students’ grammatical error in schoology. It was conducted at curriculum design subject in third semester. Furthermore, the design of this research was qualitative research since this research was designed to desribe errors of the students made in posting comment.
The data was obtained from students’ comment in schoology. The research was done by several steps i.e. logging in into schoology and entering the class code of language curriculum design class, capturing the comment of the students, then, marking and classifying the kind of error made by students using table. Moreover, the types of error that was used in this research is proposed by Dulay, Burt and Krashen (1982) as cited in Izzati (2014), which was explained that the learner's errors was categorized into four types which are error of omission, error of addition, misformation, and misordering.
Based on the result of the research, the researcher found total there were 87 errors in the students’ comment. In addition, errors of omission became the highest errors made by the students in their sentence. Then, misordering was the second biggest error made by the students.
