Once an old man planted a turnip.“Grow, turnip, grow,” he said!

“Grow sweet and grow strong!”With good water and sun, the turnip grew enormous!

The old man called the old woman for help. The old woman pulled the old man, The old man pulled the turnip, They pulled and pulled, But it wouldn’t come out.

The old woman called her granddaughter.

The granddaughter pulled the old woman, The old woman pulled the old man, The old man pulled the turnip, They pulled and pulled, But it wouldn’t come out.

The granddaughter called the dog.The dog pulled the granddaughter, The granddaughter pulled the old woman, The old woman pulled the old man, The old man pulled the turnip, They pulled and pulled, But it wouldn’t come out.

The dog called the cat.
