It all started the first day of school.

It was Max’s first day at his new school but something

was wrong.

Max walked into his new school.

All at once, he falls down and keeps falling until he

hits a locker.

Max gets up on his feet and He can’t figure out why he keeps

falling. Someone is playing a trick on him.

Max went home after that long day at school and went to sleep. The

next day he was back in school and he was walking down the hall. All

the lockers were opening an shutting but no one was around the

lockers, they were doing this on their own.

Boom! Boom! Bang!---came from down the hall.

The lights started to flicker and there were loud screams.

Then the lights went out, and Max was scared.

Max could see white cats jumping around the school.

Trees were falling into the school too.

Storms started blowing stuff around the yard and swings were

blown away. The playground was gone!

Max could not figure out why this had happened.

Max did not know about the school ghost.

No worries, Max is going to figure all of this out.

Odd things started to happen rapidly and more often.

Max decided to look into the school’s history.

Max discovered that a little boy who had died 100 years ago was

him!Max realized he was going to a ghost school. Now everything

made sense to Max. BOO!

Paul Beighley is a sophomore at the

Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. Paul is enrolled in the

auto technology program and is from the New Castle Area School

District.
