The Geography of Adventure is an original play written for the Creede Repertory Theatre’s 2012 Young Audience Outreach Tour, which travels around the southwest bringing excellent theatre to rural and underserved school children. see The Geography of Adventure!
- Creede Repertory Theatre produces 7 shows on
two stages in Creede, CO each summer.
- The““repertory” in Creede Repertory Theatre means
we produce multiple shows at one time and run
them on alternate nights. This allows a summer
visitor to Creede to see up to five shows in
just a few days.
- There are many other ways for young people to
get involved with Creede Repertory Theatre! We
offer summer Day Camps, a Youth Theatre program,
and In-School Residencies.

The first state we begin with is Maine!Then New Hampshire, vermont,
and MassachusettsConnecticut and Rhode Island
(which is not really an island)
Now the Mid-Atlantic StatesNew York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania
Maryland, andDelawarewhere?

And now let’s head down SouthTo virginia, west virginiaCarolina North and South
And kentucky, which is north of TennesseeAnd Georgia, Florida, Alabama, too
Just an old sweet songThat keeps Louisiana on my mind
Mississippi. M. I. SS. I. SS. I. PP. I. Arkansas, which looks like ArkANSAS but
really it is ArkanSAwAnd the rest is Oklahoma and Texas
we call the Midwest the Heartlandbecause its got lots of heart and
Ohio and Indiana, Illinois and Michiganwisconsin, Michigan again
