NOTIFICATIONNew Delhi, the 4th January, 1985

S.O. 7(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred byclause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution, the Pre-sident hereby makes the following rules tether toamend the Government of India (Allocation of Busi-ness) Rules, 1961, namely :—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Governmentof India (Allocation of Business) (One hundred andsixty-fourth Amendment) Rules, 1985.

2) They shall be deemed to have come-into forceat once on the 31st day of December, 1984.

2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Bu-siness) Rules, 1961, .

(a) in the First Schedule-—

(1) for the heading "1." Ministry of Agriculture(Krishi Mafitralaya)" and the sub-headings

thereunder, the following heading and sub*headings shall be substituted, namely :—

"1. Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Develop-ment (Krishi aur Gramin Vikas Mantrala-ya) :

(i) Department of Agriculture and Coopera-tion (Krishi aur Sahkarita Vibhag).

(ii) Department of Agricultural Research andEducation (Krishi Anusandhan aur Sik-sha Vibhag).

(iii) Department of Rural Development (Gra-min Vikas Vibhag).";
