The Fruit Bowl Smoothie Sensation Mission Statement The Fruit Bowl seeks to serve nutritious smoothies to all lifestyles using only fresh organic ingredients. We believe that making small changes in the health choices we make every day will have a large impact on the future of an individual and their lifestyles. Our business will be located at 226 Main Street, in the downtown area of Evansville, IN. This is a high traffic area near many other businesses including the Club Fitness Zone gym. Target Customers Competitors There are few competitors in our immediate area. Riverview Coffee Company is located 0.3 miles from our business, while a McDonalds is 0.7 miles away. Both establishments offer smoothies but do not provide organic ingredients or the wide variety of options that our business carries. One manager will open from 4 am until 12 pm, and another manager will replace them at 12 pm until close at 8 pm. There will be twelve employees at the fruit bowl, working 4.5 hour shifts when scheduled. Management and Personnel There will always be 2 employees plus a manager during operating hours. Rush hours (7:30am - 9:00am and 11:00am -1:00 pm) will require 3 employees plus a manager. On Saturdays there will be 3 or more employees at all times. Internet and/Texting/Cell Phone Usage of Employees Employees are required to keep cell phones and other hand held devices in the break room during their shift.
