The Forty Hadith of preaching Islam

All praise be to Allah the Lord of the heavens & earth, and may His peace & blessings be upon the prophet Mohammad, the final barrier of truth, the anointed one on the great day of judgment, and may Allah extend His peace & blessings to the prophets family, followers and companions for He is indeed the Creator of all things. The Prophet Mohammad is the lead caller/preacher to all of the creation, in the chapter of Al Ahzab, verse 46, Allah tells Mohammad to be the caller and the light for all. Simply reading the biography of the prophet Mohammad one can see this is exactly what he did; verbally, physically & even intentionally seeking to guide all of mankind to the right path. No matter the time, date or place of the human race we still see the effect of this command of the Almighty within the acts, teachings and advice of the prophet Mohammad. Today, in this odd, cruel world there are always talks about reforming the methods of speech, or changing the legislative ways of life, whether on a local, individual scale, or village, city, state or country. It is extremely sad to see many Muslims engaging in this sort of behavior, for the wise can see that this is but the trick of the age, the game of the mind, the war for human intellect, as if Mohammad was never here, Isa never warned, and Moses never freed the Israelites. This small collection is to reconnect the Muslims with their true heritage and knowledge, and reminder for all for what we were and what we set out to be. Awn Al Quddomi Amman, Jordan The 5th day of the holy month of Rabee' Al Awwal 1429 AH

1. Intentions are the true value of acts 'Ulqamah bin Waqas Al-Laythi said: "I heard 'Umar bin Al-Khattab -may Allah be pleased with him- while on the minbar (stand), stating: "I heard Allah's Messenger ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص saying: "The reward of actions is dependant on the intention they were made for, and every person will get a reward according to what he/she has intended. Whomsoever emigrated for Allah & his messenger then it is counted as such. Whoever emigrates for worldly benefits or emigrates to a woman to marry, then his reward is based on what he emigrated for"".

2. Intentions & Jihad Ibn 'Abbas -may Allah be pleased with him-said: "Allah's Messenger ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said: "There is no Hijra (i.e. like when Muslim had to migrate for safety) after the conquest (of Mecca), but Jihad and good intention remain; and if you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting, go forth immediately"".

3. Intentions are the core of acts Ibrahim Bin 'Ubayid Bin Rifa'a said that he was informed by Abu Mohammad (one of the students of Ibn Mas'ood -may Allah be pleased with him-) that the Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said about marytyrs: "the majority of martyrs of my nation die in bed, and verily only Allah know the intentions of those on the battle field".

4. Constants and variables in the life of a Muslim 'Umar Bin Al Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "One day while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص a man appeared before us whose clothes were exceedingly white and whose hair was exceedingly black; no signs of journeying were to be seen on him and none of us knew him. He walked up and sat down by the prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص resting his knees against his and placing the palms of his hands on his thighs, He said: "O Mohammed, tell me about Islam". The Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said: "Islam is to testify that there is no god but Allah and Mohammed ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص is the messenger of Allah, to perform the prayers, to pay the zakat, to fast in Ramadan, and to make the pilgrimage to the House if you are able to do so." He said: "You have spoken rightly", and we were amazed at him asking him and saying that he had spoken rightly. He said: "Then tell me about Iman. "He said: "It is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day, and to believe in divine destiny, both the good and the evil thereof." He said: "You have spoken rightly". He said: "Then tell me about Ihsan." He said: "It is to worship Allah as though you are seeing Him, and while you see Him not yet truly He sees you". He said: "Then tell me about the Hour". He said: "The one questioned about it knows no better than the questioner." He said: "Then tell me about its signs." He said: "That the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and that you will see the barefoot, naked, destitute herdsman competing in constructing lofty buildings." Then he took himself off and I stayed for a time. Then he said: "O Omar, do you know who the questioner was?" I said: "Allah and His messenger know best". He said: "He was Jabril (Gabriel), who came to you to teach you your religion".

5. The individual responsibility of delivering God's word 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Convey from me even an ayah of the Qur'an; relate traditions from Banu Israel, and there is no restriction on that; but he who deliberately forges a lie against me let him have his abode in the Hell".

6. The preaching nation Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Noah will be called on the Day of Resurrection and he will say, 'Labbaik and Sa`daik, O my Lord!' Allah will say, 'Did you convey the Message?' Noah will say, 'Yes.' His nation will then be asked, 'Did he convey the Message to you?' They will say, 'No warner came to us.' Then Allah will say (to Noah), 'Who will bear witness in your favor?' He will say, 'Muhammad and his followers. So they (i.e. Muslims) will testify that he conveyed the Message. And the Apostle (Muhammad) will be a witness over yourselves, and that is what is meant by the Statement of Allah "Thus We have made of you a just nation and the best nation that you may be witnesses over mankind and the Apostle (Muhammad) will be a witness over yourselves".

7. The stabilization of monotheism Tamim Ad-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) said he heard the Prophet of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص say: "This religion will reach all that day and night reaches, Allah will not leave a house or home regardless of what it is made out of or its dwellers, unless the religion enters to their hearts, even if it takes glorifying or humiliating, glorifying is to allow them to come to Islam, and humiliating is infidelity" Tamim added: "I have seen this with my own eyes, Islam gave us goodness, honor and pride, and I've seen its effect on the non believers for their kufr has granted them humility & taxes".

8. Righteous succession Nu'man b. Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We were sitting in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص, and Bashir was a man who did not speak much, so Abu Tha’labah Al-Khashnee came and said: ‘Oh, Bashir bin Sa’ad, have you memorized the words of the Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص regarding the rulers?’ Huthayfah replied, ‘I have memorized his words’. So Abu Tha’labah sat down and Huthayfah said, ‘The Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said ‘Prophethood will be amongst you as long as Allah wishes, then He will lift it up when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be a Khilafah on the way of the Prophet, and it will be as long as Allah wishes it to be, then Allah will lift it up when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be an inheritance rule, and it will last as long as Allah wishes it to, then Allah will lift it up if and when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be a coercive rule, and it will last as long as Allah wishes it to be, then Allah will lift it up when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be a Khilafah on the way of Prophethood.' Then he was silent".

9. The Global mission 'Urwa said that 'Aisha the mother of the believers (may Allah be pleased with her) said that she asked the Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص: Have you encountered a day harder than the day of the battle) of Uhud?" The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) replied; "Your tribes have troubled me a lot, and the worse trouble was the trouble on the day of 'Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn `Abd-Yalail bin `Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to my demand. So I departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and proceeded on, and could not relax till I found myself at Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky to see a cloud shading me unexpectedly. I looked up and saw Gabriel in it. He called me saying, 'Allah has heard your people's saying to you, and what they have replied back to you, Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you so that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.' The Angel of the Mountains called and greeted me, and then said, "O Muhammad! Order what you wish. If you like, I will let Al-Akh-Shabain (i.e. two mountains) fall on them." The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said; "No but I hope that Allah will let them beget children who will worship Allah alone, and will worship none besides Him".

10. The preachers reward Sahl Bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day (of the battle) of Khaibar the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "Tomorrow I will give the flag to somebody who will be given victory (by Allah) and who loves Allah and His Apostle and is loved by Allah and His Apostle." So, the people wondered all that night as to who would receive the flag and in the morning everyone hoped that he would be that person". Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) asked: "Where is `Ali?" He was told that `Ali was suffering from eye-trouble, so he applied saliva to his eyes and invoked Allah to cure him. He at once got cured as if he had no ailment. The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) gave him the flag. `Ali said, "Should I fight them till they become like us (i.e. Muslim)?" The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Go to them patiently and calmly till you enter the land. Then, invite them to Islam, and inform them what is enjoined upon them, for, by Allah, if Allah gives guidance to somebody through you, it is better for you than possessing red camels".

11. The blood of a martyr Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported The Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "Allah guarantees that he who goes out to fight in His way believing in Him and affirming the truth of His Messenger, will either be admitted to Jannah or will be brought back to his home (safely) from where he has set out, with whatever reward or share of booty he may have gained. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, if a person is wounded in the way of Allah, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound in the same condition as it was on the day when he received it; its colors will be the color of blood but its smell will be the smell of musk. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, if it were not to be too hard upon the Muslims, I would not lag behind any expedition to fight in the cause of Allah, but I have neither abundant means to provide them conveyance (horses) nor all other Muslims have it, and it will be hard on them to remain behind when I go forth (for Jihad). By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, I'd love to fight in the way of Allah and get killed, to fight again and get killed and to fight again and get killed".

12.Removing Evil Tariq b. Shihab said it was Marwan who initiated (the practice) of delivering khutbah (address) before the prayer on the 'Eid day and a man stood up and said: "Prayer should precede khutbah." He (Marwan) remarked, "This (practice) has been done away with." Upon this Abu Sa'id remarked, "This man has performed (his duty) laid on him." I heard the Messenger of Allah as saying: "He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has not strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue, and if he has not strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart, and that is the least of faith".

13. The false image Abu Wael (may Allah be pleased with him) said that somebody said to Usama, "Will you go to so-and-so (i.e. `Uthman) and talk to him (i.e. advise him regarding ruling the country)?" He said: "You see that I don't talk to him. Really I talk to (advise) him secretly without opening a gate (of affliction), for neither do I want to be the first to open it (i.e. rebellion), nor will I say to a man who is my ruler that he is the best of all the people after I have heard something from Allah's Apostle". They said: "What have you heard him saying? " He said: "I have heard him saying, "A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown in the (Hell) Fire, so that his intestines will come out, and he will go around like a donkey goes around a millstone. The people of (Hell) Fire will gather around him and say: O so-and-so! What is wrong with you? Didn't you use to order us to do good deeds and forbid us to do bad deeds? He will reply: Yes, I used to order you to do good deeds, but I did not do them myself, and I used to forbid you to do bad deeds, yet I used to do them myself".

14. Leading others to the safe path Abu Mas'ud Al Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the prophet (May peace be upon him) and said: "Messenger of Allah! I have been left without a mount. So give me a mount. He replied: I have no mount to give, but go to so and so; he may perhaps give you a mount. He then went to him and he gave him a mount. He came to the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) and informed him about it. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said: if anyone guides someone to a good (deed), he will get the reward like the reward of the one who does it".

15. The deed of guidance Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect, and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, will be equivalent to that of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect".

16. The Good Sunnah Jarir b. Abdullah reported that some desert Arabs clad in woollen clothes came to Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص). He saw them in sad plight as they had been hard pressed by need. He (the Holy Prophet) exhorted people to give charity, but they showed some reluctance until (signs) of anger could be seen on his face. Then a person from the Ansar came with a purse containing silver. Then came another person and then other persons followed them in succession until signs of happiness could be seen on his (sacred) face. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "He who introduced some good practice in Islam which was followed after him (by people) he would be assured of reward like one who followed it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And he who introduced some evil practice in Islam which had been followed subsequently (by others), he would be required to bear the burden like that of one who followed this (evil practice) without their's being diminished in any respect".

17.The best Jihad Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah bepleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "The best type of Jihad (striving in the way of Allah) is speaking a true word in the presence of a tyrant ruler".

18. The reward of good effort Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "He who keeps a horse for Jihad purposes, having faith in Allah and relying on His Promise, will find that it's fodder, drink, droppings and urine will all be credited to him in his scales on the Day of Resurrection".

19. Status of a scholar Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) said "Two men were mentioned before the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص). One of them a worshiper, and the other a scholar. So the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: 'The superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like my superiority over the least of you.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "Indeed Allah, His Angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earths - even the ant in his hole, even the fish - say Salat upon the one who teaches the people to do good". 19.2 - Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Everyone in the universe, in the heavens and on earth, prays for forgiveness for the scholar, even the fish in the sea".

20. Prophetic heritage Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "He who follows a path in quest of knowledge, Allah will make the path of Jannah easy to him. The angels lower their wings over the seeker of knowledge, being pleased with what he does. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and even the fish in the depth of the oceans seek forgiveness for him. The superiority of the learned man over the devout worshipper is like that of the full moon to the rest of the stars (i.e., in brightness). The learned are the heirs of the Prophets who bequeath neither dinar nor dirham but only that of knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion".

21. The accurate call Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) saying: "The Mu'adhdhinun (callers to prayer) will have the longest necks on the Day of Resurrection".

23. A Prophet's duty Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said that we were speaking about the prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص, then he said: "The prophets were presented to him, he saw a Prophet with 3 followers, another with a group, a third with a few and some with none, then I saw Moses with a large group of people I asked who are those they said that is your brother Moses with the Israelites" He went on to say: "I asked were is my nation, so I was told look to your right, so I looked, I saw great amount of people, looking like a great mountain I could only see faces, then I was told to look to my left so I did and I saw the same as my right, they I was asked: are you pleased? So I replied: Yes, my Lord, I am pleased. I am pleased". Then I was told: "And you will get with those 70,000 that will enter paradise with no judgment" The Prophet said: "I would offer my parents for you my nation to strive to be part of those 70,000, and if you are weak, then join those that are great numbers" 'Ukasha stood and said: "Make du'a for be to be with those 70" so the Prophet did. Then another stood and asked the same, the prophet said 'Ukasha beat you. Then the people asked about the 70,000, he said: "They don't use fire with medical treatment, and they rely completely on their Lord"

The special elements of the final prophet Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said the Messenger of Allah said: "Five things I was given, and they weren't given to any before me; I do not say this out of pride: 1. I was sent to all people 2. Fear is planted in the hearts of my enemies a month in advance 3. Battle booty was allowed for my people to keep 4. The ground was made clean and pure for me 5. I was given intercession, and I will use it for those that do not associate others with Allah". 25. The revivers Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "Allah will raise for this community, at the end of every hundred years, the one who will renovate it's religion for it". Abu Dawud said: "'Abd al-Rahman bin Shuriah al-Iskandarani has also transmitted this tradition, but he did not exceed Shrahil".

25. The Strangers Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "Islam started as something strange, and it will return back to that status of being strange, so good tidings for the stranger".

27. Those who hear the call Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "The similitude of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like a rain which has fallen on some ground. A fertile part of earth has absorbed water and brought forth much grass and herbs. Another part, which is solid, held the water and Allah benefits men thereby, who drank and gave others to drink, and used it for irrigation. But some of it has fallen on a portion of sandy land which neither retains the water nor produces herbage. Such is the likeness of the man who understands the religion of Allah and who gets benefit of what Allah has sent me with; he learns and teaches others. It is also the likeness of the man who neither raises his head on that account (meaning he does not benefit from what the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) was sent with) nor accepts Allah's Guidance with which I am sent".

28. Religion will always dominate even if by the hands of the evil Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We were in the company of Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) in a battle and he remarked about a man who claimed to be a Muslim, saying: "This (man) is from the people of the (Hell) Fire". When the battle started, the man fought violently till he got wounded. Somebody said, "O Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص)! The man whom you described as being from the people of the (Hell) Fire fought violently today and died" The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "He will go to the (Hell) Fire" Some people were on the point of doubting (the truth of what the Prophet had said) while they were in this state, suddenly someone said that he was still alive but severely wounded. When night fell, he lost patience and committed suicide. The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) was informed of that, and he said, "Allah is Greater! I testify that I am Allah's Slave and His Apostle" Then he ordered Bilal to announce amongst the people: "None will enter Paradise but a Muslim, and Allah may support this religion (i.e. Islam) even with a disobedient man".

29. Gently not harshly Abu Burda said that his father said: "The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) sent Mu`adh and Abu Musa to Yemen telling them. 'Treat the people with ease and don't be hard on them; give them glad tidings and don't fill them with aversion; and love each other, and don't differ".

The people asked; to whom should it be directed, Messenger of Allah? He replied: "From Allah, from his book, from his Apostles, from the leaders of the believers and all the believers, and the Muslims in general".

32. New Comers `Aisha the mother of the believers (may Allah be pleased with her) I asked the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) whether the round wall (near Ka`ba) was part of the Ka`ba. The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) replied in the affirmative. I further said, "What is wrong with them, why have they not included it in the building of the Ka`ba?" He said: "Don't you see that your people (Quraish) ran short of money (so they could not include it inside the building of Ka`ba)?" I asked: "What about its gate? Why is it so high?" He replied: "Your people did this so as to admit into it whomever they liked and prevent whomever they liked. Were your people not close to the Pre-Islamic Period of ignorance (i.e. they have recently embraced Islam) and were I not afraid that they would dislike it, surely I would have included the (area of the) wall inside the building of the Ka`ba and I would have lowered its gate to the level of the ground".

33. People of the ship Nu'man bin Bashir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever".

34. People of the ship An-Nu`man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "The example of the person abiding by Allah's order and restrictions in comparison to those who violate them is like the example of those persons who drew lots for their seats in a boat. Some of them got seats in the upper part, and the others in the lower. When the latter needed water, they had to go up to bring water (and that troubled the others), so they said, 'Let us make a hole in our share of the ship (and get water) saving those who are above us from troubling them. So, if the people in the upper part left the others do what they had suggested, all the people of the ship would be destroyed, but if they prevented them, both parties would be safe".

35. How to exit when people are differing 'AbdurRahman Bin 'Amr As-Sulami & Hujr ibn Hujr said: We came to 'Irbad ibn Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) who was among those about whom the following verse was revealed: "Nor (is there blame) on those who come to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst: "I can find no mounts for you." We greeted him and said: We have come to see you to give healing and obtain benefit from you". Al-'Irbad Bin Saryyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One day the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) led us in prayer, then faced us and gave us a lengthy exhortation at which the eyes shed tears and the hearts were afraid. A man said: Messenger of Allah! It seems as if it were a farewell exhortation, so what injunction do you give us? He then said: "I enjoin you to fear Allah, and to hear and obey even if it be an Abyssinian slave, for those of you who live after me will see great disagreement. You must then follow my sunnah and that of the rightly-guided caliphs. Hold to it and stick fast to it. Avoid novelties, for every novelty is an innovation, and every innovation is an error".

36. Responsibility Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said that the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "All of you are guardians and are responsible for your subjects. The ruler is a guardian of his subjects, the man is a guardian of his family, the woman is a guardian and is responsible for her husband's house and his offspring; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your subjects".

37. The gateway of charity Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said "Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you. Your seeing for a man with bad sight is a charity for you, your removal of a rock, a thorn or a bone from the road is charity for you. Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you".

38. The final moments Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen" The People said: "And also on our Najd" He said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen" The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! And also on our Najd" I think the third time the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan". Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes, the outbreak of the great war will be at the conquest of Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal (Antichrist) comes forth. He (the Prophet) struck his thigh or his shoulder with his hand and said: This is as true as you are here or as you are sitting (meaning Mu'adh ibn Jabal)".

39. On Judgment day we will meet again Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Bani Hashim, O Bani 'Abdulmattaleb, O Safia, the aunt of the Messenger of Allah, O Fatima, daughter of Mohammad, I do not know what people will come carrying with them on the day of judgment, my family on judgment day are those who feared their Lord. I am like a man standing between his people reminding them day and night of what is to come, I am warning you now, death is the seal and judgment day we will meet again".

40. Brotherhood On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection: Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My Shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My Shade". Mu'adh (bin Jabal) (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Allah, the Exalted, has said: 'For those who love one another for the sake of My Glory, there will be seats of light (on the Day of Resurrection), and they will be envied by the Prophets and martyrs".
