Pouch application: Closed, Drainable and Urostomy

1. Remove the protective release paper from the pouch. Avoid touching the adhesive area. Insert pouch tab into slot on the wafer/baseplate to ensure correct positioning BEFORE sticking the pouch to the wafer/baseplate.

2. Rollthepouchadhesiveareaupontotheflange/baseplate.

3. Gently massage over the whole pouch adhesive area.

Give the pouch a gentle tug in a downward direction to check that it is attached securely.

Filter cover application:

1. Filtercovertobeplacedovertheendofthefilter.

2. Have the straight end facing the centre.

3. Foldovertocoverfilteroutletcompletely.

Pouch removal:

1. Withonehandholdtheflange/baseplateandusethepouchtabtopullthepouch away.

2. Cleantheflange/baseplatewithwateranddrytheareathoroughlybeforereapplying another pouch.

For removal of Urostomy’s using key:

1. Place green key in top of loop on pouch

2. Start to roll the key away from your body to remove the pouch from the base plate.
