From 10th to 16th oh June 2012, a delegation from „Septimiu Mureşan” Police School Cluj-Napoca, formed by chief superintendent Simona Pintea - Head of the Department of Legal Training and Criminology and superintendent Mihăşan Simona - professor in the same department, joined The "International Week" in Nienburg. The invitation was sent by the head of the Police Academy Nienburg, Lower Saxony - Germany. Speakers from 11 European countries presented specific information on police training from each state.

"International Week" is an annual program integrated in the “Police Law Enforcement Service" training of The Academy of Lower Saxony. Speakers from across Europe presented to the German students specific knowledge of police training. The program aims to improve the intercultural skills of students and the lecturers. At this year attended guests from Belgium, Croatia, Switzerland, Estonia, France, Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary .

The Romanian delegation participated in communications sessions conducted between 11th and 15th of June in three locations: Hann.Munden (June 11); Nienburg (June 13) and Oldenburg (June 15). In each of these three locations of the Police Academy, before an average audience of 200 students, they presented an information material on one of the newest European project involving our institution, namely project no. LLP-LdV/TOI/2010/RO/005 - Setting  up the center of excellence for initial and continuous training on professional stress management and duty weapons using tactics, based on transfer of innovation from partner countries (Project BIA). Also, they provided information regarding the selection of candidates for the entrance exam in Romanian police schools and the training of Romanian police officers and agents.

The activity, a first for the teachers of Cluj police school, had a special importance in strengthening the partnership relations with neighboring educational institution. Up until now, we have worked with the Academy in Lower Saxony in a human rights Leonardo da Vinci partnership and also in some programs of exchanging students.
