This is my great pleasure and privilege as chairman of the Greenland Group to say something about Greenland Training Centre Limited. As we all know that the need
of skilled manpower is always in high demand. With technological advancement, the need has been becoming higher day by day. To fill up the gap of demanding skilled manpower, Greenland Group is running a well established and equipped training centre from 2008.
Bangladeshi workers are in high demand all over the world for their ethic & productivity. But painfully they are earning less than others for lacking of skillness. Also our country is getting less foreign remittance comparing to our neighbors. That is why the present government has been given emphasis for migration of skilled manpower instead of unskilled.
It can be mentioned here that short technical training blended with right orientation and self-presentation can do a magic. The workers can earn high remuneration at the workplace. This training and the practical knowledge will be a great wealth of their life. Even after finishing their assignment abroad, they can apply their knowledge in the country.
Greenland Training Centre Limited caters to the gap that exists between the need of the market and the current situation. GTCL is harnessing a win-win arrangement for all the parties involved the employee, employer and the countries concerned.

Greenland Training Center Limited (GTCL) was set up with a mission of turning unskilled hands into skilled and more productive work force thus benefit the employees, employers and countries concerned.
Professional development of a future-prospective person is the main objective of the training centre. Professional development refers to vocational education with specific reference to continuing education of the person undertaking in the area of employment. It may also provide opportunities for other career paths. Vocational education has been related to specific skills, usually tied with immediacy of getting or retaining or raising the status of employment. The objectives of the courses are to develop task skills in such a way that the future-prospects can achieve effective skills thus ultimately achieve leadership skills.
As tapping and placement of human resources is one of the major activities of Greenland Group, GTCL plays the pivotal role in developing the people in such a way that s/he gets the right orientation of the kind of jobs s/he would be required to perform at home and abroad. GTCL puts special emphasis on the practical aspects while basic theories, soft skills, Generic subjects-as the backbone of the entire learning process - tell them why they should follow the method.

Greenland has developed a modern and technology-aided training centre on its own premises to cater to the need of its local and
offshore partners. The training modules have been developed keeping in mind the need of the foreign employers as well as local industries

SEIP-PKSF, SEIP-BACI, SUDOKKHO and Job placement cell has been established for local employment.

Key priority economic growth sectors identified by government have been targeted by the project like SEIP (Skills for Employment Investment Program) to improve entry level job skills along with up-skilling of the existing work force to ensure ‘required skills to the industry standards’ . In order to fulfill government’s plan under NTVQF (National Technical Vocational Qualifications Frame work) as a selected PTP of PKSF Greenland Training Centre Limited also providing skills training since 2016.

Under Switzerland and UK funded skill development training program SUDOKKHO & GTCL also conducted it’s training program in two phases like Model-III and Model- IV.

Greenland training centre is running Twelve courses under Civil Department. We have graduated more than 13,650 qualified civil discipline technicians after we had started our operation. Our instructors include CBT qualified abroad experienced Civil Engineers. Most of them are BTEB resisted Assessor & Trained or They coordinate the overall operation and practical activities. Our students are learning with projects that are real time and experience that they accumulate from these projects are valuable. We have a very strong database of Civil Technicians and Engineers who would add immediate value to the operation of any construction organizations.
We have also introduced NTVQF Level. 1. 4 and CS. We invite outsource Assessor and Trainer to justify the acquired
knowledge shills and a Hi tide for qualify assurance of train.

In recent days SS Welding are using widely so TIG & Fabrication has introduced.
Welding is one of the most essential factors for various levels of industrial establishments. Without Welding, lot of high structural job is not complete and cannot have efficiency. There are several kinds of welding that are required for water pipe, oil pipe line, gas pipe line etc. As a result, the demand for welding in most countries is increasing rapidly, especially in industrial based regions. Greenland has observed a tremendous number of requests for well qualified Welders from Europe and North America. We have a customized plan under which workers get trained on this discipline by top level Welders who has real life experience working in abroad. Our crafted curriculum is suitable for both beginners and experienced welders.

The importance of the Computer education is second to none in today’s modern economy. We have a good number of well qualified working people in our country who have good degrees but are not computer literate. Due to this, we are lagging behind in the corporate world culture and its costing us in bundle in wages. The main objective of Greenland is to increase the awareness of ICT among the employees/workers who had not much exposure to learn about computers due to the absence of a structural education system. Greenland has started this mission for all level of employees/students disrespect of its career discipline. We offer 4 course here

Recently, Greenland has observed an increase in demand for quality security Guards both in abroad and in the country. We maintain and extensive form of training for the Security Guards and officers. In our core program model, we have three major sections: Industrial Security, Bank/Commercial Security and Residential Security. Etiquette After completion of the core training programs, we deploy our graduates to local internship of three months which gives them professional work experience before they might be interested to overseas employment. Our Security Guards have earned a deep appreciation from the client base till now and we pride about the quality of our Guards.
Our security training focus on Approach, Etiquette Attitude English Language reporting maintain register, daily routine works etc.

A career in hospitality management offers opportunities all over the world. Our training prepares you for this by covering food and beverage management, accommodation management and food science. Employer can develop technical knowledge and skills within our excellent facilities, which include production kitchens and a training restaurant. The program seeks to develop communication, numeracy and team building skills. Courses deliver applied learning through extensive use of multimedia, Graphics, vide simulation and demonstration ensure learning. Greenland is exploring various options to be affiliated itself with major brand 5 star hotels & resorts in Bangladesh to provide the graduates and internship as a part of their course activities.

Hands-on electrical maintenance training is our specialty. In addition to written lest and oval test every student must successfully perform the required procedures on real equipment demonstrator with all compliances in order to pass - not just watch someone else do it. Each of our instructors has decades of field experience so they can provide a real world perspective in the classroom and they have the ability to effectively communicate that knowledge. The courses included in this department are House Wiring. Installation and Maintenance, Motor Rewinding etc. Electrical dept has couple of BTEB registered Assessor and trainer having overseas experienced.

DRIVING & AUTO MECHANICS

Greenland has one of the finest programs in the country for its Driving and Auto Mechanics Section. It offers various numbers of courses targeting to teach its student about Defensive Driving, Auto Mechanics, Diesel Fluid Mechanics, Driving for Beginners, Industrial Driving (Heavy Drivers) etc. We also have country specific course works teaching students about rules and regulation about traffic and rules. We have had very recent success of deploying a very good number of drivers to United Arab Emirates which translated into very well appreciated responses from our clients.
MECHANICAL TRADE

In any type of transportation consoles, Motor cycles or heavy construction machineries we need to have regular maintenance and repair works. All major industries use mechanical machines and to maintain them we need skilled workers for maintenance work. Manufacturer for mechanical tools also need skillful Engineers and Operators. Greenland has a well groomed practical setup and a pool of qualified Engineers to overseas our courses in Mechanical Trade. The students in this section outnumbered almost all other trade due to its popularity.
CLEANING & HOUSEKEEPING

A clean environment is important for our mental sanity and also for physical well being. We at Greenland put special emphasis in Cleaning & Housekeeping courses which are equipped with world class machineries and tools that are used for practical demonstration purpose. Our course includes soft skill courses that would point out the leadership quality of each individual. Our instructors all have real life work experiences in major hotels & resorts abroad. We dedicate slot time on each training day to teach them conversational English as we believe each of our graduates should be expert in Customer Service as well.

Local Manpower Supply We recently opened our new operation Greenland Facilities Management WLL at Doha, Qatar located Local Manpower Supply at Al Saad area, the heart of the city. This new office will be responsible for all logistics operation on behalf of Greenland Overseas in Qatar and coordinate procurements of requirements from our clients.
Our primary objective is to provide our clients pre and post customer services as needed for the well maintenance of our workers. Most recruiting agents in Bangladesh send workers from Bang-ladesh and they cannot be held liable or asked for assistance to maintain the workers’ require-ments if there are any when they reach to their destination country. Our clients feel it safe to come to agreements with us for our after sale service and commitment, not to mention our expe-rience of three plus decades. We take care of any issues related to the workers brought by us and we assist our clients throughout the contact period.
In addition to recruitment works, we also supply Manpower on hourly basis for various types/categories for Industries as per their requirements. Our Manpower includes various categories like Skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers. We have many workers currently working under our sponsorship and with the agreement we can bring in workers from overseas as needed given proper time frame. We will meet all the required and all legal matters for our work force.
Our technicians and workers are sought after, for their technical skills, hard work and the ability to work under any difficult conditions. Bringing together the organizations that needs such workers for better production and the pool of good skilled workers has been successfully bridged by the services provided by Greenland. We do feel that there is ample scope for us to work for you to fulfill your needs in manpower. If necessary we can meet, discuss and finalize other terms and conditions to our mutual business interests.
