COCOGRO™ Premium Soilless Organic Grow MediaBotanicare has sourced the world’s most premium coir fiber for our Cocogro Soilless Grow Media. CocoGro uses 1/2 inch double-sieved long fibers to reduce dust and give ample air space within the mix. CocoGro has excellent drainage properties and can be used over a longer period of time than coir fiber with shorter fibers. Cocogro’s longer fibers create an optimal air to water ratio, which is vital for strong root development. CocoGro is a superior coir fiber because it is aged a minimum of eighteen months and has finished its decomposition stage. In addition, CocoGro is exposed to rain water from at least three monsoon seasons, which naturally washes harmful salts from the final product. Most other coir fibers are only 4 to 5 months old and may have excessive potassium and salts that require chemical treatment.

BOSS™ Specially manufactured to replace conventional growing methods in 6” X 6” rockwool cubes, Boss is changing the way hydrogardeners cultivate crops. Rockwool is prone to over-watering and is ecologically unfriendly because it isn’t biodegradable. Boss is both eco-friendly and biodegradable. Boss is manufactured with extra washes to remove excess sodium, and is made from the same 1/2” double sieved coir fibers as CocoGro for increased air space at the root zone. The fiber is aged 18 to 24 months and fully decomposed to ensure no pH, or E.C. drifts. Boss is special because of its multi-drain capability and its packaging. A coarse coir fiber mat on the bottom of the block allows for free drainage and keeps coir fiber particles from draining out of the bag. Every Boss block is compressed to a 5 to 1 ratio and is available in 6” X 6”, 8” X 8” and 10” X 10” bags. Each poly bag is horticultural grade, white on the outside and black on the inside ensuring a low temperature and darkness to promote healthy root systems.

How it Works:A high output pump and microjet sprayers deliver a highly oxygenated spray of water and rooting hormones to the stem of the cutting. The cuttings are mechanicallysupported by a flexible neoprene collar which holds the plant cutting in the Power Cloner while suspending the cutting stem in the nutrient reservoir. How it Works:Econojet systems use Botanicare™ trays and reservoirs with some of the best ebb and flow fittings and submersible pumps available. The ebb and flow fittings are completely modular, allowing the grower to adjust the level of water that floods the tray during feeding. These high quality components provide for years of trouble free operation. Our trays and reservoirs are made with durable ABS plastic with built in U.V. inhibitors that minimize fading and yellowing from intense grow lights. All trays are 7” deep with drainage channels to allow water to run completely away from the plants after feeding. The reservoirs have built-in porthole covers that make it easy to monitor and refill the nutrient solution. EAZY DRAIN™ RESERVOIRThe Eazy Drain Reservoir uses a gradual interior slope to allow the solution to drain completely without manually tilting the unit. Our Eazy Drain Reservoirs feature a virgin u.v. resistant cap that wrap a core of 70% recycled plastic. These trays have a smooth easy to clean surface with large drain channels for complete, efficient drainage. Designed to be used with a bulkhead fitting and on/off valve, the Eazy Drain makes maintaining your hydroponic systems hassle free. Q: What should my ppm read during each phase of growth?A: It is hard to get true reading when using organic nutrients. When using inorganic salts this is a general ppm guideline:

Q: What is the ideal water temperature?A: Between 68° and 72° F, or 20° and 22° C.

Q: Can I use hydrogen peroxide with Pure Blend Pro or Liquid Karma?A: No, hydrogen peroxide will kill off the beneficial microorganisms present in Pure Blend Pro and Liquid Karma. Q: How is Triflex different from other 3 part formulas?A: Triflex is unique because it contains a vast array of organic additives that are not present in other custom formulas. Triflex is formulated with vitamins, amino acids, liquid compost, seaweed, humic acid, fulvic acid, and tissue culture ingredients.

Q: How are your trays different from others on the market?A: Our trays are made from extra thick, high impact, virgin ABS plastic with U.V. inhibitors and have a smooth finish.

Q: When should I use Cal-Mag?A: Cal-Mag can be used all the way from the vegetative stage to the fruiting and flowering stages.

Q: When should I use Hydroplex?A: Hydroplex should be used in the last 2-3 weeks of fruiting and flowering.

Q: Why should I use Pure Blend Pro Soil?A: If you are growing in soil or clay, colloidal particles bind up phosphorous and the microbes in the soil compete for phosphorus. This formula has double the phosphorus compared to our regular hydro-organic formula. You can also use Pure Blend Pro Soil as a ripening formula in hydro-organics during the last few weeks of flowering.

Q: What is so unique about your coir fiber?A: Our coir fiber has very low salt content, is aged a minimum of 18 months and has finished its decomposition stage. It has an extremely high air content, has extra long fibers and is double sifted to reduce dust. Cocogro is also buffered to balance out the high potassium naturally present in coir.

Q: How often should I change my reservoir water?A: You should change your reservoir water every one to two weeks.

Q: Can I leave an aeroponics system running all the time or should I use a cycle timer?A: Cyclical and continuous feeding are both ideal for aeroponic growing. If you decide to run on a cycle timer, 1 minute on 4 minutes off is ideal.

Q: What is the difference between Pure Blend Original and Pure Blend Pro?A: Pureblend Original is an organic compost solution to be used as a supplement with standard plant foods. Pureblend Pro is a hydro-organic, stand alone plant food to be used as the primary fertilizer. It is beneficial for both hydrogardens as well as soil gardens.

Q: Should I top off with straight water or with nutrients added?A: Add 20-25 % nutrients to the topped off water.

Q: What is the difference between Blast Off and Liquid Karma?A: Liquid Karma contains all of the ingredients in Blast Off plus organic additives such as liquid compost, seaweed, humic acid and fulvic acid.
