For those of us moms who couldn’t make it to the November 17th meeting
here are a few things you missed. We started with brunch and
listened to Kayley Decker sing a couple songs. We enjoyed making a
fun advent calendar for our craft using clip boards, scrapbook paper,
note cards and mod podge. We got together with our discussion groups
and talked about holiday traditions and brainstormed fun things wecan do as a family to be more giving. We finished the meeting with
our prayer circle. Today we will be making blessing bags to pass out
to the homeless. On the back I have included what we are putting in
the blessing bags, plus a few more ideas if you want to make your own.
At the next meeting we will be having our annual Christmas Party
gift exchange. Please bring a $15 gift and we will play a fun game. It
is also going to be pajama day, so wear something comfy!
It is now December, how the time sure
has flown by, we are slowly getting to
know more and more great women. Hope
everyone is enjoying it as well. Let us
get to know two more lovely ladies. In-
troducing Tiffany Linkous and Tara
Whitt...
Tiffany grew up in Andover, Kan-
sas. She has been married 8 years to
her husband Jeremy. They have two
children, Arianna (3) and the newest
addition to the family, Taylin Olivia
born 11/11/11. Tiffany’s favorite thing
about being a mom is all the hugs and
kisses, and watching them grow. A fa-
vorite thing they enjoy as a family is
playing outside.

her husband Jeremy have been married

boy, Brecken (17 months). Tara’s favorite
things about being a mom are molding andshaping a little life and also snuggling.
As a family they like to go on walks, go
grocery shopping, and play ball. A
couple things not very many people know
about Tara is that she sells Scentsy and

Blessing Bags Today we are making blessing bags that we will be passing along to the home-
less. This time of year is really hard on them since it is so cold. Here is a
list of what we’ve included in our bags today, plus some extra things you can
throw in there just in case you feel inspired to make a few on your own. You
can take these to shelters or keep in your car just in case you happen to
need one. Also a big THANK YOU to Sue Hunt for sewing all the bags to put
everything in!
