For those of us moms who couldn’t make it to the November 17th meeting here are a few things you mis sed. We started with brunch and listened to Kayley Decker sin g a couple songs. We enjoyed making a fun advent calendar for our craft using clip boards, scrapbook paper, note cards and mod podge. We got to gether with our discussion groups and talked about holiday traditions and brainstormed fun things we can do as a family to be more giving. We finished the meeting with our prayer cir cle. Today we wil l be making blessing bags to pass out to the homeless. On the back I have included what we are putting in the blessing bags, plus a few more ideas if you want to make your own. At the next meeting we will be having our annual Christmas Party gift exchange. Please bring a $15 gift and we will play a fun game. It is also going to be pajama day, so wear something comfy! It is now December, how the time sure has fl own by, we are sl owly getting to know more and more great women. Hope everyone is enjoying it as well. Let us get to know two more lovely ladies. In- troducing Tiffany Linkous and Tara Whitt... Tiffany grew up in Andover, Kan- sas. She has been married 8 years to her husband Jeremy. They have two children, Arianna (3) and the newest addition to the family, Taylin Olivia born 11/11/11. Tiffany’s favorite thing about being a mom is all the hugs and kisses, and watching them grow. A fa- vorite thing they enjoy as a family is playing outside. 11:26 am in room 11.

She was 6 pounds,

11 ounces.

 Getting to know you cont.Tara grew up in Derby, Kansas. Her and

her husband Jeremy have been married

for four years and they have one little

boy, Brecken (17 months). Tara’s favorite

things about being a mom are molding andshaping a little life and also snuggling.

As a family they like to go on walks, go

grocery shopping, and play ball. A

couple things not very many people know

about Tara is that she sells Scentsy and

has four sisters.

Blessing Bags Today we are making blessing bags that we will be passing along to the home-

less. This time of year is really hard on them since it is so cold. Here is a

list of what we’ve included in our bags today, plus some extra things you can

throw in there just in case you feel inspired to make a few on your own. You

can take these to shelters or keep in your car just in case you happen to

need one. Also a big THANK YOU to Sue Hunt for sewing all the bags to put

everything in!
