THE EMPRESS WALK A Fashion Fundraiser for Culturally Diverse Women

August, 2018 Dear Supporter: We are inviting you to take part in an incredible opportunity of support for our Second Annual Fashion Show Event, The Empress Walk, taking place at The Metro Hall in Downtown Toronto on October 3, 2018! Alongside your participation and generosity, you will have the chance to help multicultural women in Ontario gain better access to resources and care that can make a difference in their quality of life. This year, our focus is Women’s Cancers. Racialized and immigrant women continue to be disproportionately affected due to socio-economic status, health behaviours related to culture, access to specialized care, environmental factors as well as direct and indirect systemic discrimination. Our goal in working with our partners is to provide awareness and raise funds for targeted health promotion and programs that effectively serve multicultural and multigenerational communities of women at risk in Toronto. We appreciate the success of our fundraising efforts from our First Annual event which helped a local woman living with cancer in Jamaica purchase a prosthetic leg. THE EVENT This Year’s Theme, ‘Women: A Work of Art’

The Empress Walk features a women’s health conference including informative and engaging discussions alongside our signature fashion show and vendor showcase. This year’s theme, ‘Women: A Work of Art’ will explore the artistic side to the female form and fashion design. We are looking for speakers, designers, vendors, models and sponsors. Below are the benefits to working with us at each level of support.

VENDOR $150 Vendors will have logos featured on the online and direct marketing campaign. The vendor showcase will include 2 ½ hours of dedicated time and booths will be on display throughout the fashion show.

SPONSOR $1,500 + Sponsors wi l l receive complimentary tickets and the h ighes t l e ve l o f advertising before and during the event including social media, email and d i r e c t m a r k e t i n g p r o m o t i o n . N o t i t l e sponsorship available.

DESIGNER $250 - $350 Designers will be part of the promotion of the event and will be featured during the fashion show. They will have a booth in the vendor showcase. Designers are responsible for fittings and getting the models for their line.
