Here at Danish Design we’ve been working our paws off - designing and producing fabulous bedding for dogs and cats for more than 30 years, in the beautiful heart of Yorkshire.

We work with downright brilliant fabrics that perform as good as they look. Only the very best will do to make our pets happy, (oh, and not forgetting their owners too).

Our reputation reaches far and wide and as market leaders we always deliver super quality products throughout the UK and Europe. Everything we produce is designed by our Danish designer Susanne Mortensen. Susanne believes that life’s too short for second best and that simple pleasures are often the most rewarding - like sitting and reading, walking the dogs or jumping in puddles just for fun. MY FIRST BED

A soft round bed in Sherpa Fleece fabric specifically designed with puppies in mind. ‘My First Bed’ features a host of special features. For ease of washing, the Sherpa Fleece cover is fully removable. The unique comfort ring will give an added feeling of security and as the puppy grows larger, it can be removed to increase the bed area.

‘Tick-tock’ pocketA unique feature of ‘My First Bed’. A handy pocket attached to the side which can be used to put a ticking clock* inside. The ‘ticking’ mimics the heartbeat of the puppies mother and helps to reassure your puppy. This pocket can also be used for storing a favourite toy!

Comfort ring‘My First Bed’s’ unique Comfort Ring is a soft ring of fibre filled Sherpa Fleece. When your puppy is small the Comfort Ring will give an added feeling of security. As your puppy grows, the ring can be removed to increase the bed area. Fully washable.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADING (Last Revised 2012)DEFINITIONS In these terms the following words shall attract the following meanings;-“SELLER” shall mean - Danish Design Pet Products Limited“BUYER” shall mean - A customer of the seller who has placed an order with the seller for goods to be supplied.“GOODS” shall mean - Any goods supplied by the seller to the buyer pursuant to an order.

1. ACCEPTANCEAll orders are accepted and executed on the understanding that the BUYER is bound by the following conditions of sale. These can only be varied in writing by Danish Design Pet Products Limited (hereafter referred to as THE SELLERS) and are to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions of purchase or otherwise.

2. PRICESa) Orders are only accepted on the conditions that goods will be invoiced at price ruling at date of despatch. The SELLER reserves the right to alter prices without notice to cover variation in cost of raw materials, labour, etc., or through THE BUYER’S change of design, specification or for any other reason.b) Where goods are delivered to THE BUYERS order in installments the prices are those ruling at the date of invoice.c) Value Added Tax is charged additionally at the appropriate rate or rates ruling at the date of invoice.

3. DELIVERYGoods will be delivered normally within seven to ten working days maximum throughout mainland United Kingdom. Carriage is free on orders of £250.00 Nett & above, U.K. mainland only. Orders of a value of £150.00 - £249.00 Nett will be subject to a transport surcharge. Orders of less than £150.00 will have carriage charged at cost. Customers within outlying areas that are subject to surcharge by our carriers will be charged the value of the surcharge at cost.

4. COLLECTION DISCOUNTCollection discount of 5% will be allowed on goods collected from the SELLER’S premises by prior arrangement.

5. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE OR SHORTAGEClaims for damage or shortage must be notified to the carrier and to the SELLER within 48 hours of delivery. Any claims for damage or shortage will not be entertained unless this notification procedure is strictly adhered to. Any other complaints in relation to goods and services supplied must be notified to the SELLER in writing within seven days of delivery.

6. PAYMENTa) Strictly 14 days from date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed with the buyer in writing.b) THE CHARGING OF INTEREST IN OVERDUE ACCOUNTS. THE SELLER reserves the right to charge interest at 3% per month above the base lending rate of Yorkshire Bank Plc on any account not paid within 14 days (or the otherwise agreed period) after the date of invoice.c) DEBT RECOVERY COSTS. The SELLER reserves the right to add to the BUYER’S account any cost incurred by the SELLER in instructing an agent or solicitor to act on the SELLER’S behalf in the recovery of any overdue account.

7. RISK AND TITLEa) Unless otherwise stated, the risk in goods shall pass to THE BUYER when the goods are delivered.b) Until the SELLER has received payment of all monies owed to them at any time by THE BUYER on any account whatsoever:I) Title in the goods shall remain with THE SELLER and THE BUYER shall store them or keep them in such a way as to clearly indicate the title in them remains with the SELLER;II) THE SELLER shall be entitled to enter any premises of THE BUYER to remove such goods from the premises and also levy THE BUYER with all costs incurred in recovering the goods.

8. CANCELLATION AND SUSPENSIONTHE SELLER has the right to cancel all or any contracts or withhold delivery if:a) THE BUYER fails to pay any monies owing by the due date;b) THE BUYER commits any breach of contracts;c) THE BUYER goes into liquidation has a Receiver appointed or commits any act of insolvency;d) THE SELLER has any reason to doubt the credit-worthiness of THE BUYER. THE BUYER may not cancel any order with THE SELLER unless agreement is given in writing by THE SELLER. In the event of any such cancellation THE BUYER shall reimburse THE SELLER for materials, labour costs or any other expenditure or costs incurred in connection with the contract or order so cancelled.

9. DISPUTESTHE BUYER shall not be entitled to withhold payment or any monies correctly invoiced by and due to THE SELLER because of any disputed claim.

10. FORCE MAJEURETHE SELLER does not accept liability for non-fulfillment of any terms of the contract caused by force majeure or by any industrial dispute, accident, fire, scarcity of material or labour, or by any cause not directly within its control.

11. CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSTHE SELLER shall not, in any circumstances, be liable to the BUYER in respect of any consequential loss, indirect loss, damage, loss of profit which THE BUYER may suffer by reason of default by THE SELLER or goods manufactured by THE SELLER.

12. INTERPRETATIONAll contracts to which the conditions apply shall be construed and take effect in accordance with English Law.Registered in England No. 2134552

PACKAGINGAll Danish design products are clearly labelled for retail display. products delivered to a warehousing/distribution centre environment are individually sealed in protective packaging.

BAR CODESDanish Design products are bar-coded with the EAN13 symbol. Bar codes are labelled on packaging or swing tickets depending on product style.

DELIVERY SERVICESThere are no minimum orders. Carriage is free on orders of £250.00 nett and above, UK mainland only.Orders of a value of £150.00 - £249.00 nett will be subject to a transport surcharge.Orders of less than £150.00 will have carriage charged at cost.Customers within outlying areas that are subject to surcharge by our carriers will be charged the value of the surcharge at cost.All goods are despatched within a maximum of 7-10 working days from the date of order.Depending on order size, goods are dispatched on a 1-3 day delivery service.
