     Morphological Box

To position our ideal city it's necessary to be according with our way of thought the

city idealization: human references. The Inten(city) team is formed by south americans,

then it means we already have an acquired knowledge according with the life way in South

America, we are familiar with the social and climatic characteristics of here, for example.

Not that we are not able to propose solutions to realities that are not ours, but it would be

much more needed studies and a greater effort to be as unbiased as possible, then we

assume ourselves as important elements in the definition of the city, we assume our level

of partiality. When projecting something for someone is inevitably put something related to

our own ideas about what is good or bad, in this way, with the certainty that we are part,

somehow, of the group of humans that are the "units of measurements" of our ideal city, it

is interesting that we can plan it a reality we have intimacy: South America.

Our chosen region also has a large number of potential locations for new pro-

jects. We have as an important elements to our city - beyond government and organs, as

we wrote in Assignment 3 - the limit and the boundary, so we start by analyzing what kind

of limit is more appropriate to our proposal and rationale of town. Therefore, it does not

seem interesting to our city to have an linear limit defined, since our proposition is like

about a "poliradial" city,. What would be a linear limit? The ocean, for example, that inhibits

expansion on its side and induces differentiation value and treating to coastal area in cities.

According to these analyzes, we decided to locate our project amid the continent, but it is

historically known the nearness to the major water sources for the implementation of a city.

So, besides the location away from the coast, we identified the river as interesting element,

which is not in disagreement with our ideas about limits and controlled growth.

Relative to the great natural potential of South America and the presence of

rivers, we identified easily the problem of deforestation occurring in the region, diminishing

natural heritage. Therefore, we opine by regions of high degree of deforestation, for

example, to the implementation of a good relationship between human and nature. Our

idea is a city that encourages people to value the presence of nature. It is therefore interes-

ting Amazonas focused discussions and major environmental problems, to become an

example of conduct, and it is consistent with the presence of abundant vegetation and ri-

vers we want. We will try to use an act of bad example for all mankind (deforestation) to

deploy an example of conduct. A valley in the Amazon, land-locked and rivermouth, seems

more interesting because it induces a topological limits, our reasoning project relates to the

presence of water - important element of presence (and historical) in the choice of deplo-

ying city - and gives us possibility growth despite the natural limits proposed.

SUBMISSION PART 3

        THE LOCATION OF THE STREETS

Should be three circles (the first is the center) the third, should be located on the

street is between a park and trade ... the first because the park reduces noise from the

street to the house, the second because people will have easy access to local shops ea-

sily.

In the second circumferential main streets are found (connecting the third, second

and first circumference, as well as other cells, should have green around the second cir-

cumference side, but should have as a road which connects the housing to the services

and health centers (example).

           THE ELEMENTS DEFINITION

We can define a city of infinite growth, but controlled. We do not have as reference

only sustainability, or sidewalks, or green, avenues, transportation, for example ... if our de-

finition element'' of the city "is the MAN, then we have to have all systems (sustainability,

sidewalks, streets, shops, equipment, green, etc) in fellowship

       THE CELLS

The definition of the city first (The cell growth of the city) then it must be the definition

of the first (perhaps the most important) scale facilities in the city that is what distinguishes

one cell to the other and that defines the city as a whole.

       THE EQUIPMENT

Each of the cells should have at least basic equipment, which should arrive any per-

son walking. And his relationship with other cells

          THE DISTANCE

To begin defining the distances and the size of the blocks, if we have the man as a

reference, we need to define a principle which we adopt walking distance : 500m.

        THE PROPOSAL

The proposal is to define the'' core'' basis - city hall - the amount of housing, utilities,

green, etc., all in accordance with walkable distances (drawing with certain measures ...),

then define the other scale equipment important city for the definition of the city, a certain

amount, so it is important to run a city, done that define all cells from walkable distances

and connections priority.

             THE GOVERNMENT

The system of government of the City, is based on governance, collaborative work

in government and private entities, with citizen participation. These three key players in the

city work together to reach agreements and advance the city project, in order to maintain

and increase their quality of life through social cohesion.

The government will work with leadership in promoting the various strategic plans

amices city (education, health, employment, environment ...).

Government will be a participatory, transparent and committed to the welfare of the

people.

            THE ECONOMICAL ACTIVITIES

The main economical activity is the production of bio-diesel from the treatment of

organic waste (80% of the waste of the city), becoming the main producer of bio-fuel of

Brasil. It treates the waste of the city and the surrounding cities, converting it into a useful

energy source for the area.

It exports food (fruits and vegetables) and has an important research laboratory, to investi-

gate about innovative technologies to treat waste, and new ways of producing energy.
