Module 7: Bedrooms/Beds

� Bedrooms are such an importantpart of our life as we spend 1/3 ofour lives in the sleep state toregenerate our energy. Therefore,the energy should be conducive toharmonious living.

� Since the master bedroom iscrucial, particular attention shouldbe paid to this room as it willdetermine the luck of the patriarch,head of household or breadwinner(male or female).

� Headboards should be placed inyour good directions of +90, +80,+70, or +60.

� The sleeping direction is of vitalsignificance for both married and singlepeople. This area of the house is anopportunity not to be missed toenhance your life. The head is theantenna, therefore the direction andthe top of the head.

� When an antenna is in the wrongdirection, you can’t see anything. Gooddirections mean good vibrations cometo our head, comes to the body. Chi isvibrations, energy field etc. The goodenergy comes through the head andgoes to the bottom of the feet. If it’s badenergy the same applies.

� While it would be ideal to have your bedroom located in the part of the house that is oneof your four good sectors, this is usually not so.

� It is impractical and not necessary to move out of your master bedroom into another partof the house for the sake of ‘location’.

� Direction rules in Feng Shui, and this is much easier to manage.

� If you were doing a new-homedesign, yes you could feasiblyget both.

� So no need to fret over thebedroom location, make surehowever, that your bed andeveryone else in the house arewell-placed by placing theheadboard in a great direction.

Bedrooms for Wealth, Health & Romance

Master Bed for Wealth

� To improve wealth, the bed should be placed on a walldirection that is your +90. This is an opportunity not tobe missed. If the bed must be placed on a wall withwindows, use a tall, solid headboard. In the masterbedroom, the bed direction/headboard should be placedto your +90 to increase wealth and opportunities. If youwish for more success at work, try to place yourheadboard to the Sheng Chi (+90).If your bed is

placed in the -90 direction, all types of disasters could ensue such as bankruptcy, divorce, fatality, and failure in business.

Master Bed for Health

� Blessed by the heavens and the ‘heavenly doctor’protects you. Beds placed on the -80 direction willindicate bad health, all sorts of betrayals and badromance. You could lose a partner through an affair,disabilities are also indicate when this direction isactivated by sleep.

To improve health (also the second wealth direction), place the bed in the +80 direction. This will indicates long life and good social standing in the world with support from VIPs and the government.

Master Bed for Relationships

� The +70 direction is also excellent for networking andchildren can have a unique, specialized businessbecoming rich and famous. If the bed is placed on your -70, it will bring lawsuits, bad romance, gossiping,quarrels and no harmony.

� It will be very difficult to attract or keep a partner byactivating this direction.To attract a

partner or improve all relationships such as romantic, employee, children, relatives and clients—place the bed in the +70 Direction.

� For children, use one of their gooddirections to place their headboards. Ifyou have a grown child that you wouldlike to see ‘move on’, then place him/herin her father’s +70 (Yen Nien). Forexample, the grown child’s father is a 1Gua, place the headboard to the South.

� Place young children to one of their gooddirections, but masters agree that the bestis their +60 or +70 directions. Don’t placeyour children ‘better’ (e.g. +90) thanyourself, they tend to act out or questiontheir parents’ authority.

� The rule for mirrors in a master bedroom is-- while lying on the bed--you should notbe able to see yourself. This means mirrors on the ceiling, while very sexy, will violatethis basic principle. The ever-popular mirrored-closet doors are also very bad.Improperly placed mirrors can bring extra-marital affairs, fighting, conflict, lovetriangles, and divorce. Mirrors placed behind the bed are not as serious or harmful,but are not ideal either.

While mirrors located in master bedrooms can cause strife and affairs, if located

in other bedrooms can disturb the chi and thus

sleep patterns. It may cause conflict with family

members a well.

� Dressing mirrors that do not reflect themartial bed or full-length ones behind adoor are fine.

� Mirrors hung high so that you cannot seeyourself while lying in bed are fine too.

� Cover closet doors that have mirrors, theseare almost floor to ceiling and are at leasteight feet wide, with drapes, wall paper orbetter yet replace them with wooden doorsif you own the home.

� If you use drapes to cover the mirrors, youonly need to close them at night. Remove orcover mirrors on the ceiling, and re-hangmirrors in the bedroom in locations whereyou cannot see the bed

� Computers also have the same affect on our energy fields and are best left out of themaster bedroom. Leave the work and careers out of the bedroom and focus on eachother. Master bedrooms should be reserved for sleeping and sex.

� Televisions can reflect objects just like a mirror, and should not be placed directlyacross from the martial bed. It can cause couples to fight and argue over petty things.Your love life will also improve if you do not have a television in the master bedroom.

� In addition to having a reflectivequality like mirrors, a televisionemits electromagnetic energythat is disturbing to human chi.The closer you are to televisions,and the bigger they are—you canexperience negative results. Thiscan cause restlessness andinsomnia.

Module 7: Exposed Beams

� If the overhead beams runhorizontal, which will cutacross the heart,reproductive organs, or thestomach, they can causeheart issues, lung/breathingproblems, serious digestiveproblems such as Crohn’sdisease, and sexual orreproductive problems.

� Beams that are located overthe bed and run vertical cancause the couple to split,however depending whereyou sleep they may causehealth issues as well.

� The lower the ceiling and thecloser they are, the moreserious the negative resultsmay be. The only real remedyfor this is to completely coverthe beams with plaster orsheetrock.

� Classical Feng Shui does not rely on bamboo flutes in these scenarios asa ‘cure’. The beams are still there and can cause great harm.

� Make them disappear by covering them up if, no matter where youplace the bed, you are under them. If you do not own the home, then trycovering the area where you bed is located, with fabric using thumbtacks.

� Water features should not beplaced a master bedroom, it willdisturb your energy and may causeaffairs.

� Water is primarily used to enhancewealth and harmony in a home,but when water is improperlyplaced it will ignite sex scandals,affairs, incest, alcoholism, drugabuse and other undesirableresults. Aquariums, wall fountains,desk fountains, or waterfalls in thebedroom can generally bringscandals and affairs and should beavoided.

� Newly married couples shouldpurchase a new mattress to begin themarriage. The furniture in the masterbedroom should be proportional to thesize, and the room should be free ofexcess clutter.

� Make sure that you have a solidheadboard; the open type design is notas auspicious. The lack of headboardwill harm your relationships and theywill not be as stable.

� Children need a solid headboard tomake them feel more secure; the lack ofone may cause them to misbehave oract out.

� A man is a 9 Gua (East Life) andhis spouse is a 7 Gua (West Life)

� The bed is on the East wall (withgood stars)

� The East is already a greatdirection for the 9 Gua

� Do not look up the Advanced EightMansions for the East Life Groupperson! If you do, you will find aconflict with the different groups.

� If the bed is placed on East 1 orEast 3, it will be great for hisspouse.

� You can look up the +90, +80, etcthat is indicated for the spouse

� If the house is on the 1st or 3rd mountain, the bed can go right against the East wall

� If the house is on the 2nd mountain, the bed will have to be angled into the 1st or 3rd mountain of East to bring her good luck

� Note: When a couple belong to opposite groups—it is always best if the house is on the 1st or 3rd mountain of any given direction.
