History The Eiffel Tower was built by

Gustave Eiffel. The Eiffel Tower Is located in Paris, France. The construction was started in 1887 and finished in 1889. That means it took two whole years. It is made out of exposed Iron that is all small shapes put together to make the Eiffel Tower big.

During ConstructionGustave was a perfectionist so if

one piece was not correct he would send it back. The pieces were shipped over seas in large pieces to make it easier to construct. The reason it only took him two years was because he had gone to so many schools of building with metal and many more schools.

Right NowAt the beginning there was not an

elevator but now there is one. Even though they built three levels you can only go on the bottom two. The Eiffel tower is still the masterpiece of Paris, France. At night glowing and colorful lights light it up. This is considered the heart of romance city.
