Dear Sacred Heart Families,
Thank you to all who have returned filled Boxes of Joy! If you need ideas on what to pack in your box please see the attachment and
be sure to turn them in by Monday, November 4th
Box of Joy, a Christmas gift ministry organized by local Catholic schools, parishes and
groups nationwide. By packing Boxes of Joy with toys and other gifts, our students
will bless children suffering from extreme poverty by sharing the joy of Christmas and
planting seeds of hope through the Gospel.
Materials are available in morning assembly or your student may pick up a box at the
car line at the end of the day. Plastic shoebox sized containers are also a great way to
pack a Box of Joy. These containers may be reused by the receiving children. Please
check out this link for how to pack your Box of Joy.
The deadline for returning your packed Boxes of Joy is Monday, November 4th. Beta
members will be present to receive packed boxes each morning in the gym before
assembly.
Sponsor-a-box online is a convenient option for families who would like to participate
but are unable to shop and pack boxes themselves.
