Introdcuation: There was an informal guest lecture of Mr. Dhanvanshu Pawar,(Mech. Engineer)a first year IIM student
from Bangalore interacted with ABS students.
The idea of having him interact with the students was to make them aware that IIMs can be within reach of
everyone with a little perseverance and a lot of hardwork.

Achievements/Benefits:
He elaborated on the need to get involved in other activities like Social work to maintain a right balance in
Life. He, himself was heading the social Impact Club of IIM, B'lore.
He laid stress on the following points which all students must keep in mind for a successful time at the
Institutes and for their careers too.
1. PEER group :- is very important in a student’s life. Students forming a peer group come from different
cultures and backgrounds which teaches many important lessons. According to him,a student learns
nearly 70% from peer groups and only 30% from teachers.
2. Clubs :- Be a part of every club in the Istitute.They should be student driven and faculties only should
guide.

3. Case-Studies/Projects :- Students should go that extra mile to do projects(SIP) very sincerely. Class
participation was also very important.
4. Reading :- He emphasized on reading habits but also mentioned that whatever little is read should be
critically applied. Students should constantly keep updating their knowledge.
5. Students should make use of the Freelancing websites to upgrade themselves.
6. Students should feel free to talk with any faculty as a Mentor.
He said that one must never stop trying and never give up no matter how much time it may take.
His Mantra to the students was "Decide not knowing about it. Then DO/ACT knowing about it was”
To sum it up, he laid stress on hard and sincere work, good reading habits, softskills like good attitude,
loyalty, honesty, sincerity and most importantly communication skills.

Report of the Activity
Introduction:
The Talerang activity was conducted at ABS in Association with Swadisha.The activities were
focussed on mentoring girl students and empowering them to choose their careers wisely.
Activity in- Charge: Prof. Vishakha Waikar
Date: 6th April, 2018 Friday.
Topic: Enhancing Employability Skills.
Resource person: Ms Parul and Ms. Urvashi.
No of Participant: 30 girl Students.
Venue: ABS Class room.

Introduction:
The Ambedkar Jayanti celebration was organized by ABS. The Jayanti celebration began with an offering
of flowers to emancipator Dr. Babasaheb’s photo and lighting candles to the statue of Lord Buddha by Mr.
R. Venkitachalam,Chairman, Bizsolindia Services Pvt. Ltd.

Venue: ABS Seminar Hall.
Achievements/Benefits:
Mr. R. Venkitachalam enlighted the Students about Dr Ambedkar and his great work in drafting the Indian
Constitution.The event continued with the I/C Director, Prof. Manisha Bhamre speaking about Ambedkar
Jayanti being celebrated to mark the birthday of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, an Indian jurist, politician,
philosopher, anthropologist, historian and economist who was the principal architect of the Constitution of
India.The event was well organized and coordinated by the Students who also became aware about the
Constitution and many facets of Dr.Ambedkar.

Aadishakti Pratishthan’ had organised WALKATHON-2018 for the students , educators, Admin and other
employees of AEF. It was a part of their program planned for the whole day with a primary focus on
Start-up India, Mudra Loan & many more government schemes.
The objective of Walkathon was to attract the attention of State government & Central government for
Industrial development of Nasik & IT companies in Nasik etc.
