Three. Two. One. Brat-snot! Shoot. Do I get a do-over? No way, you say? Well, that’s very stingy of you. For the time being I will overlook this character flaw in you, the reader, as I welcome you to this very
first Fall 2013 issue of—you guessed it—The Drawing Board. I’m Leah and I’ll be your editor for today. And for the year, unless I become the victim of a totally unwarranted mutiny for my whip-cracking approach to comic-getting! Let’s all hope that doesn’t happen! (Hey! You there! Are you hoping! Start hoping! I want to see those fingers crossed!)
And now we arrive at the point in this aimless word-spew where I introduce this year’s new staff: I am altogether elated to welcome Emily Marie Morrow as co-editor, Laura Stockdale as treasurer, and Roxanne Kehr as distributor. Say hello to your new shackles positions of joyful service, you three!
As for the rest of you students, alumni, faculty, staff, community members, campus foliage, and Luke Crawfords: comics and comments can be submitted to [email protected] or CPO 100. We’d also love to see you, one and all, at our informational meeting this Monday (9/16), at 8:00 p.m. in ChC 221.
