With the introduction of Internet and wireless technology, financial technology or FinTech and is now
extensively used in exploded personal and commercial finance. With more and more investment pouring into
Blockchain startup, the demand for talents in Blockchain technology has been on the rise.
New technologies, like machine learning/artificial intelligence, predictive behavioral analytics and
data-driven marketing, will take the guesswork and individual habit out of financial decisions. Technological
innovation in the financial sector, including innovations in financial literacy and education, retail banking,
investment and even crypto-currencies like bitcoin, have also driven an unprecedented transformation of
finance around the world.
The Diploma in FinTech and Blockchain Technologies and Applications will review and explore major
areas of FinTech and the core technologies driving FinTech Innovations such as big data, artificial intelligence,
blockchain, predictive analytics and social media through lecture, examples sharing, demonstration and
practical hands-on exercises.

These programmes combine technical and non-technical content. Participants can make enrolments to the individual workshop based on their background.
Participants are welcome to make enrolments to individual workshop to acquire the knowledge and certificate.
Participants who complete a total 60 learning hours (any 5 workshops), with 75% attendance and pass the assessment will be eligible for the Diploma certificate. Participant shall provide the following: 1. Certificate Holder in related areas; or 2. 5 grade E in HKCEE or equivalent; or 3. 5 passes at Level 2 in HKCEE or equivalent; or 4. 5 HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or equivalent; or 5. mature student (i)
(i) Mature student for diploma courses must be 18 years old or above and with 2 years or above working
experience.
Trainer
Alan Lee held a senior management role in the technology division of a investment bank, overseeing the
corporate strategy, product development and production management for more than 14 years. With
extensive IT background, Mr Lee possesses practical project experience on sophisticated analytics and
large-scale global technology project management. He also has rich training experience in the design and
delivery of Big Data analytics, Fintech and Blockchain Technologies and Applications.
