• The process of developing a holistic framework for student development unique to CI
• How the model ties into Chickering’s theory
• Campus strategies for implementing the model
• Network with peers in relation to the dimensions

• 5,400 Students
• Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI)
• 1,050 First Time Freshmen and 1,000 Transfer Students in 2014
• Located in Ventura County (45 minutes from Los Angeles and 15 minutes from the coast)

• Grounded in Arthur Chickering's (1993) Theory of Identity Development
• Serve as a guide for students
• Development in the dimensions will… - strengthen the student’s interpersonal competence and self- awareness
