SUBJECf UPDATES AND CLARIFICATIONS ON CY 2016 PROMOTIONS

1.0. As a result of the Central Personnel Selection Board (CPSB) deliberationsconducted on February 23, 2016, the submission of application for publishedvacant positions is hereby extended. The said CPSB action is intended toserve justice and equity, and to level the playing field in the promotionprocess taking into consideration the beneficial interest of all officials andrank-and-file employees.1.1. All applications shall be submitted to the Human Resource

Management Division (HRMD), in four (4) copies, on or beforeMarch 8, 2016, with the following required documents:

1.1.1. Letter of Intent (Form A) (Annex A)1.1.2. Original Updated Personal Data Sheet1.1.3. Authenticated Certificate of Eligibility or License issued by

the Civil Service Commission, Professional RegulationsCommission, or the Supreme Court, as appropriate

1.1.4. Copy of Transcript of Records1.1.5. Copy of Diploma1.1.6. Certificate of trainings and seminars attended, if any1.1.7. Copy of Customs/Local Personnel Order/s (CPOs/LPOs)

indicating designations and/or assignments relevant to therequirement of the position being applied for

1.1.8. Performance Evaluation System (PES) forms for the last tworating periods (January to June 2015 and July to December2015) with attached Individual Performance CommitmentReview (IPCR) Targets for the first semester of 2016 (Januaryto June 2016)

1.1. , Ombudsman Clearance to be submitted until the day of theCompetency-based examinations

1.2. If any manifestation or representation made in any of theaforementioned required documents is found to be false, fraudulent,faulty, or inaccurate, the application shall be deemed null and voidwithout prejudice to any legal action that this Bureau may pursueagainst the persons responsible for such misrepresentation.

1.3. Application to only one (1) item number/position is reiteratedaccordingly.

2.0. Instructions to Group/Local Personnel Selection Boards (G/L PSBs) shall bereleased consequently.

3.0. All applicants who have previously submitted their applications but had achange of mind upon due reflection, are now authorized to revise their

( respective Letters of Intent indicating new preferred item number/position.

4.0. Deliberations of applications for published positions with items numbers thatare the subject of the 1st Indorsement dated 02 June 2014 (Annex B) issuedby Undersecretary Carlo A. Carag shall be held in abeyance pendingresolution of issues related thereto.4.1. Affected applicants who applied to said positions shall likewise be given

the same aforementioned deadline to submit to the HRMD their revisedLetters of Intent.

5.0. Item Number BOCB-INTELOl-8-2000, Intelligence Officer I, which was alsopublished, will be taken out of the rest of positions to be deliberated upon by

( the PSB per Order dated 16 June 2014 in S.P. Civil Action No. 12-128083issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 11, Manila, granting the motion ofLot K. Abordo to assume the said position.

6.0. The schedule of the competency-based examinations shall be announcedaccordingly.
