The Deliverance of Faculty of Animal Husbandry's Contingent to the 28th Pimnas

Fapet-UB's contingent rel;eased by the Dean

Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya (Fapet-UB) represented by 5 contingents, will drive to the National Student Scientific Week (Pimnas). The 28th Pimnas recently is convened at Halu Oleo University of Kendari South East Celebes in 5-10 October 2015. Previously the have quarantined at Grage Hotel of Karangploso Malang that filled with training of presentation, poster and briefing.

On Tuesday (29/Sep/2015), accompanied with Vice Dean III of Student Affairs, Dean Prof. Dr.Sc.Agr. Ir. Suyadi, MS deliverance the five contingent that also witnessed by supervisor lecturers. Contingent of Faculty of Animal Husbandry with many fields such as Community Services (PKM-M) of 1 team, Student Creativity Program (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa/PKM) of Technology Application (PKM-T) of 2 teams, PKM-entrepreneurship (PKM-K) of 1 team, and PKM-karsa cipta (PKM-KC) of 1 team.

PKM-M team created Battling Games (Beef Cattle Counseling of Janggan Farmers), an application of Ajep feed technology (Rice Straw Ammoniation) and Kamblok (Chicken Manure Molasses Blocks) for empowerment of beef cattle breeders at Janggan Village, Poncol Subdistrict, Magetan Regency that supervised by Rini Dwi Wahyuni, S.Pt, M.Sc.

Meanwhile the PKM-T team created Ei-Gun (Electrical Insemination Gun), Innovation of Artificial Insemination Device with Electrical System Integrated Speculum for promotion of artificial Insemination of Fresh Cement which is supervised by Dr. Ir. Gatot Ciptadi, DESS. An also Mastimedis "Mastitis Electrical Biomedic": Innovation of Mastitis Therapy Device for Dairy Cows Using Electroporation principle as an Effort to Decline Mastitis Prevalence in Coommunity Farming of KUD Sumber Makmur in Malang that is supervised by Dr. Ir. Puguh Surjowardojo, MP.

Under the supervision of Achadiah Rachmawati, S.Pt, MS team of PKM-KC created "Bee-Tech", a design of engineering of portable honey wringer as quality insurance of export honey to improve small farmer's Welfare. While PKM-K team supervised by Heli Tistiana, S.Pt, MS created Sludge Feed as innovation of catfish feed from sludge.

On the occasion, Dean delivered to let the participants to stay humble, not to proud themselves and feeling smarter than any other team. And also maintaining ethics of manner during presentation. [dita/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
